It’s good quality cork bark, no complaints there, but I needed the exact dimensions listed, but it’s actually about 17x22, and did not work for the design I was working towards. I ordered zoo med specifically because the smaller pieces I’ve ordered in the past were exact to the description, and that’s what I needed.

My lizards love to climb it. Very natural looking.
I used the background in my Green keel bellied lizards 24x18x24 Exo Terra tank. I bought an extra panel since my tank was too big for just one. I cut out the extra strip I needed using a jigsaw. I put the tank on its back and added silicone to it. Then I placed the panels on the silicone. I put books as weights on the panels and left it to dry for 24 hrs. I had a small gap on one side due to the way I cut. I filled this with brown silicone and then sprinkled dirt on it to hide the bead of silicone. Now crickets can’t hide in that gap. Two things to note: 1. The size of the panel is cut to specifically fit 18x24 exo terra tanks or zoo med tanks, not standard aquariums. 2. If you are getting mold, then there’s not enough air movement in your tank. I have most of my screen top covered with plexi glass and I still don’t get mold (although I have spring tails in my tank who eat it).

Luck of the draw if you order 2
I ordered 2 for my snake tank backing since it’s too big of a tank for just 1 to cover the whole back. I love the look of them and they seem like great quality which is most important. My husband couldn’t get them to stick so we ended up using zip ties to hold them on the back and it works for our tank. One of them was bowed and one was straight and they were slightly different thicknesses. I’ll add the best picture I currently have where you can see how one sticks out just a bit more. I love the way it looks so I’ll give it 4 starts, but for the price of them it would be nice if they were both at least straight so they would adhere to the tank.

Looks amazing
Tile was large enough to make 2 background panels on my terrarium looks awesome . Little hard to cut but I used a hand saw. Also didn’t glue the best but with a little work and you get it in there it looks perfect . Also doesn’t mold so it’s the best option for reptile vivarium .

Bent and cracked
Came Bent and cracked in the back Had to put a bag of sand on it to try to flatten it it did not work i dont have time to wait for new one my rescue comes in tomorrow

A MUST-have for people who own the XL Zoo-Med
I ordered this for my XL Zoo Med terrarium. It fits like a glove! This background arrived a little bit bowed out, but that is expected for natural cork that is normally curved. I used 100% clear silicon to mount it and stacked rocks on top of it while it cured to flatten it out. It really makes a major difference in the appearance of your enclosure when you have this background. It also gives your animals something nice to climb on and feel secure. I am keeping a young R. leachianus or leachie gecko in my terrarium. I'll be buying more backgrounds for my other enclosures. I also keep gargoyle geckos, and crested geckos. I'll post pics of my terrarium on my site thegeckopad . com. I will also try to put a photo up on amazon so you can see what the background looks like mounted. Make sure you order this from a good seller as the seller I bought mine from was very slow in shipping and shipped AFTER the expected arrival date that they quoted me.

Cork Tiles for Chinese Water Dragon enclosure
I purchased two wood tiles for my CWD enclosure. The measurements were off on one, where I had to measure and cut, then one tile was slightly bent with a curve. I purchased the aquatic silicone as recommended and it took awhile to paste the tile to the glass due to off measurements and being curved. To make it stick to the enclosure I had to be very creative and keep pressure on to let it dry 24hrs. It's been several months since I've purchased and it's still in tact. My CWD loves to climb on the cork tile. I spray it with water daily for humidity and no build up or mold. To clean, I use wipe out as recommended by zoomed and rinse very well with water then air dry 24 hrs before returning CWD. I recommend this product despite the few issues which can be a deal breaker for most. I would have exchanged but shipping would of been a hassle

Great looking, all natural background.
Bought to create a custom background in a crested gecko enclosure. Was not one piece but actually two pieces put onto a cork backing which ended up looking great and even had pieces of moss on the background. Arrived bowed, which apparently is common, but once it is siliconed into place with weight on it for a day all is well. Screws stayed secure into the background when mounting extra pieces of bark to it before siliconing. Very happy with it.

Used as a Turtle Basking Dock
I bought this to use as my turtle's basking dock and it is great so far! It was easy to cut, bend, and customize. I would definitely recommend it for owners with bigger turtles. The downside to this product is that the water causes the front part of the cork tile to 'peel' off the back of the board. In addition to that, it leaves particles in the water because little bits seems to break off easily.

Disappointing
Havent had much luck with this company's stuff. Got this terrarium backing and it was bowed to the point I could not attach it. I'm currently trying to bend it back to straight but not going well.
