Some trimming needed

This stuff looks great and is good quality. Did have to trim it to get them to fit had to use 2 of them to fill the back of my terrarium. A little warped when I got them but they were cheap enough I wasn’t worried about it. The biggest thing is that I had to figure out a way to keep it secured to the back of the enclosure to ensure they didn’t fall down and a the snake or rat wouldn’t get behind it. All in all great product.

Cork Bark Background Tiles

Very nice for reptiles that enjoy climbing, such as Water Dragons. I have these lining my terrariums top to bottom with stick / log throughout and it looks good, holds in heat, and helps hold moisture. I suggest these to anyone with a tropical reptile, that enjoys climbing. My water dragons hang out on this often and climb along it to get to different branches / levels. Only thing that can be annoying is that the tiles are sometimes a little "bent" or "curved" but that can be fixed with glue to the aquarium or screws into wood. Overall I would give these a 4 of 5, and I did order 8 of them.

High quality, great appearance!

I wanted a more natural looking background than the styrofoam one that came with my Exoterra 18 X 18 X 24 terrarium. The cork came bowed in the center, but I put a very large book on it for 24 hours and it flattened out for siliconing to the glass back, but I weighted it down to make sure it wouldn't change shape. It bonded perfectly flat. This is the same level of high-quality product that Exoterra is known for, If I need to breakdown my other bio-active paludarium I'll replace its' background too. The ease of mounting epiphytes and orchids on the cork is a huge plus, I am eager to see how well that my vining plants adhere to the cork as they grow.

Easy to modify and press fit!

Really easy to install. I had to cut the panels to fit because my tank has a divider in the middle of the back panel, but they press fit easily. Cork all around makes it quick to modify with hand tools. Looks awesome in the back of my ball python's enclosure, didn't even need to adhere it with silicone, which is great because this isn't her forever home. Also smells great when the enclosure is misted.

Perfect for RES basking platform!

VERY nice! Large piece was perfect for my 40 gallon turtle tank. Cut to size & wedged on one end for a basking platform. You have to soak for a few days, changing out water as color of cork will bleed into tank if you don't. It can support my hefty red-eared who's about 8". July 2015 update: No problems at all. There is a seam & you can see glue BUT it doesn't fall apart or cause problems. Works perfect in water & floats nicely. I did have to secure one end to glass with suction cups that have hooks.

Doesn't fit

This seems to be a good product but there is about 1/2 inch on each side that it doesn't cover. ZooMed should make the correct size or make it a little too big. Then you can cut off the correct amount so it fits your enclosure.

Wrong size sent, will update after receiving replacement

The tiles look great but they sent me the wrong size for both of them. I will update this with a full review after the replacements arrive

Perfecta pieza de decoracion

Estuve buscando opciones locales mas baratas, y no encontre, me decidi pedirlo con el riesgo de que aduanas no lo pasara o que llegara roto, para mi suerte pedi dos piezas llegaron en perfecto estado, el unico inconveniente si se le puede llamar asi, es que no estan completamente planas, aunque a mi no me afecta, por el tipo de material es de esperar que no este plano al 100% sin embargo creo que es corregible sin mayor problema

Love it!!

Excellent product! Gorgeous natural bark. Frogs can easily climb across it. I have a waterfall in one corner and it isn’t bothered by the water. I did have to trim a little bit off one corner to get it to fit but I suspect that was a problem with the tank not the item. I was able to screw small metal hooks into it to hang wires tubing and plants
