Too curved to use as a wrist or knee board

This is too curved to operate as a slate on your wrist or knee. Strap would not tighten enough to hold it in place because of the design of the slate.

Doesn’t hold position.

When diving the card flop out and that makes it hard to open each panel to write thing on. This happened during my first dive with this device.

Very practical but velcro is poor

I have worn it during a dive trip and will classify by the Good and the Bad Good 1. The pencil sleeve works really well in keeping the pencil in place especially when entering the water on a dive 2. The plastic material accepts pencil writing really well even under water 3. The Pre-Printed pages (2) are very practical for communicating to other divers quickly (6 messages) - refer to web page 4. The contour of the plastic pages forms well to my arm Bad: 1. The velcro is very poor quality and after 3 dives, the velcro would not keep the writing pad attached to my arm. It came off and was starting to float to the bottom but another diver caught it in time. 2. It does have holes on the top and bottom to allow me to put some sort of cord (rope or thin bungee material) to wrap/tighten around my wrist. This will supplement the velcro (when I replace it). 3. I will need to create my own velcro wrist band and cut the original off. Would I buy it again? YES - just be aware of the deficiencies and what you can do to prevent it from going to the bottom of the ocean. I would have given it 5 stars if the velcro was better quality.
