Good enough is about all you can expect to get.
The instructions suggest the installation only takes 15 minutes. I beg to differ. The most challenging part will be to properly mark the holes to drill. It's a near impossible balancing act of holding both of the wall mounts and the shelf in place with one hand, while trying to somehow maneuver a pencil THROUGH where your holding hand is to somehow access the holes to mark them, all while keeping a level on top of the shelf to make sure everything is aligned. I ended up attempting to use the mounts on their own to line up the holes. All seemed straight enough, but even after all that trouble the mounts wound up being slightly askew. Everything is assembled maybe 90% to my satisfaction, but it isn't perfect. Also, what's the deal with these wonky anchors they send? I just used my own anchors. There's no indication in the terrible instructions on how exactly these anchors are meant to be inserted in the walls, only what the finished assembly would look like, which doesn't do me any good. Rather not bother myself with the trouble.

Nice Shelf
Nice shelf. I installed it in the bedroom of our new motor home to hold a very small DVD player. However, being a corner shelf, I wish I had realized that I installed half of the shelf on the wall and the other half on a sliding door that looked like the wall - before I closed the door and it pulled out of the wall ????????????

This is a very nice shelf for the price. We could not have DIY'd anything close for the same price. Our only complaint was that we needed at least one of the bottom supports to align with a wall stud, which are 16 inches apart and 16 inches from this particular corner. We had no stud in the corner. That's not the shelf's fault though. If your wall's studs happen to align with either of the holes, it would be quite sturdy. Myself, I don't trust toggle bolts, though there were some included. I would buy again and that gets it 5 stars, I guess.

I knew from the price and reading the reviews that this shelf wasn't that great but since I only needed it to hold a baby monitor I went ahead and bought it since I don't have a ton of money and don't want to spend it all on a shelf. As others have said, the holes weren't all aligned properly and it only connects to the wall brackets with dowel rods so it isn't all that stable. After my husband failed to install it properly, I had someone else look at it and he found that a bracket was missing so he fashioned one out of cardboard. I'm not sure if it was missing from the package or if my husband lost it that is why I'm not giving only a two star rating.

Perfect for my granddaughters room!
I really love this shelf! I bought it for my granddaughters room to hold her camera monitor. Her room is very whimsical and fairy tale decorated. This shelf looks very sweet and dainty, yet is sturdy and has room for larger things as she grows! Definitely recommend!! Thank you!

Color
The color was a little more red than I expected. More of a mahogany rather than typical red oak. The grain is nothing like oak, again more like mahogany. I pre-drilled all holes that wasn't already drilled and didn't have any issues on installation.

Looks great in the corner of my kitchen near my sink work area.
Looks great in the corner of my kitchen above a utensils holder. I placed my paper towels holder on this for easy reach from my sink work area. This is a sturdy shelf and frees up some counter space. An eight inch potted plant would fit nicely on this. It's a little hard to level and drill as easily as the instructions show but I did it.

Same issue as others have had with splitting
Same issue as others had in that the "under" supports cracked as soon as the screws were screwed in. Ordered a total of two and both had the same issue. Ended up keeping one - just glued it and installed it. Only holds a very lightweight lamp so no issues. This is real wood, so the screw was just too large for the under support. Company needs to figure out the correct size screw to use so that it won't split the wood.
