Easy to install better than expected

Did not consider that shelf first because it only hang base on 2 screw nails. Not a metal mount bracket. So tried to see how is it. It's perfect size what I need, and materials looks good. Easy to install, but it has to measure it accurate. Too bad it didn't come with a nail hole template, otherwise it will be much better and easier to drill the hole and install.

Shelf sides are not completely flat/level, so it doesn't fit flush against the wall. However, as there are now items placed on the shelf, it's not very noticeable. I'd say that you get what you pay for - this item is reasonably priced and of medium quality. If I needed another for a quick installation (the built-it cardboard guide was very useful) I'd likely buy again. But if you what something fancier, keep looking.

I'm not sure why people are having such difficulty with these... I've bought six of them so far and all are mounted just fine. In fact, I'm planning on buying more, shortly. I was just waiting for the size I wanted to come back into stock. I had a little bit of trouble with the mounting of a couple shelves on some wood paneling, but after taking some time to see what I was in for, it all worked out. They seem sturdy and I trust some of the shelves with some "valuable" possessions of mine. :P All in all, I'm pleased and I recommend these shelves!

Pretty looking shelf, easy to hang, just not really stable, manufacturer's packaging could use improvements

Bought this product about a week ago to showcase an ivory carving. When I opened the Amazon box, the manufacturers box was inside. The manufacturer's box is not wrapped in plastic so the top of the shelf was scuffed in a few places. I used a Mr. Clean magic eraser and that worked well to remove the scuffs. I hung the piece easily and it was level, however the off-set from the wall is slightly off and doesn't sit tight against the wall, meaning the shelf sags slightly downwards. I remedied that somewhat easily, by folding a piece of paper a few times and sticking it between the shelf and the wall. This seemed to help make the shelf more stable and not sag downwards. Its an attractive shelf but cheaply made. Guess that's what $20 gets you.

Perfect

I know some people mentioned this falling out of the wall. I bought heavy duty anchors instead of the ones it came with and it is on the wall solid. Definitely would not use the anchors provided. Just make sure it’s nice and level. Looks wonderful.

Great shelves but get your own hardware

These were perfect for displaying some fun pieces in my daughters’ room. Perfect depth for holding items, but the hardware it came with didn’t match the shelf.

Nice look, quality questionable, not super sturdy

These look great but one of ours(we ordered two) came with the hole "stripped" - like the wood fibers that were supposed to help the hardware from slipping around inside was missing or not dense enough. so it wouldnt install level to the ground, it tilted down a little. Put a tissue box on it and the dang thing fell right off and damaged our wall a little (super!). So im just ordering another one and if that one has the same problem, maybe I just lucked out with the first one and the product typically sucks. Even when installed well, I wouldnt put anything that weighs over 1lb on them- theyre not super sturdy.

Works great!

I've had these shelves for a few weeks and they're working out great! I did take the advice of other reviewers and I used my own screws. I don't have super heavy stuff on them (I think it only holds 8-10lbs) but I really like the look of them.

It’s a shelf, but don’t put anything heavy on it.

I am pleased that the shelf matches the rest of my office funiture. It does what I want it to and I’ve ordered a second to complete a look. As long as you’re not putting anything super heavy on it, it’s going to be fine. Mine is mounted to drywall only, but if I had been able to hit studs with the screws, I still wouldn’t be able to put anything heavy on it because it uses just the screw head to hold it up and it’s made of particle board, so any really weighty items will break the board.

Efficace pour le prix !

Les tablettes ne sont pas d’une robesteste extraordinaire mais elles font l’affaire pour des petits biblos. Elles sont très légères! Faire attention lors de l’installation, les trous de sont pas exactement à la même distance des deux côtés. Il y a des petites différences, assez pour que les vis ne s’enlignent pas.

Read the small print

These shelves were not what I was expecting. Yes, they were easy to install/assemble. I have a video on my channel where I install them. They were smaller, by a long show than what I thought was being sent to me and fornthe price unpaid...? No.

Lightweight but sturdy

I put this up super easily, I was actually surprised how easy it was. Its the perfect size for a shelf for a smaller space. If it were a bigger room, if want a shelf double thr length, but it is perfect for what I wanted it for
