It's okay

One of the pieces were bent but I still managed to get it hung up without it. Not worth the hassle of returning and buying a new one. It was very hard to get it hung up. Definitely takes two people maybe three. It works for what I needed it for. I'm just not very good at hanging shelves lol.

A bit on the expensive side, but very sturdy.

The Rubbermaid Linen Closet Shelf is well made and sturdy. Easy to follow instructions walk you through how to install it right down to the spacing of the drill holes to put the wall anchors. I would also say to follow the directions! I did for the securing the top part of the shelf, but for the legs, I thought it would follow the same method as the top, but it doesn't. You have to put the leg against the wall then insert the wall anchor, then put the screw in. If you do it the same as the top, the leg hole will slip over the screw head. It is as strong and sturdy shelf, but to me is a bit on the expensive side for what it is. I'm still happy with it and feel confident it will be durable enough to last a long time.

Hardware sufficient

I would have given 5 stars but it comes with these nails to secure the shelf which to me wouldn't be strong enough to support the shelf sufficiently. I used my own screws and anchors that were more heavy duty.

Ignore the stars. This is a great product.

Even though this was not easy to put together, even though this is clearly a two person job to install the shelves, it is well worth it. We remodeled our kitchen and use these as our shelves instead and it went beautifully. They’re very sturdy, precise in dimension. the delivery was good. The quality is great.!!!

You might want to with locate studs or modify the wall anchors

I installed five of these. I would have liked sturdier units. These are a tad flimsy. Also, I would like more resilience on the white coating. The coating nicks/scratches very easily. I repaired many spots with white nail polish. Many of the spots were there when the shelves arrived (i.e., packing or shipping damage). Regarding "sturdier". I don't like the wall anchors that come with these shelves. Perhaps the manufacturer has conducted load tests to satisfy themselves, but I've installed dozens of shelves over the years and I don't like the ones that come with these RMade shelves. As a result, I did two things. First, located studs and ran my own screws in the studs. Second, when I couldn't find a convenient stud, I used a Dremel tool to cut off the part of the RMade wall anchor that goes in the wall and I used 50 lb-rated, screw-in dry wall anchors in a number of locations to receive my own screws. So, I used the RMade part that clips the shelf into place, but I used my own wall mounting method. I will also say that during handling and install, I popped a couple of the spot welds that hold the wires together. Pretty weak connections. I'm not putting hundreds of lbs on these shelves, so they will suffice.

Nice Shelf

Very sturdy & super easy to put up. It's a one person job. If you know how to measure lines just hold the shelf on the wall & mark your holes. I only did 3 instead of 4 holes & it's still sturdy. Once you have your holes lined up, Drill the holes. Put the white brackets in as far as they go, Then hammer the rest of the way in. Hammer your nail in the bracket. Place the base in the slots of the bracket. Hold one side of the base take a leg and place it how the packet says. Make sure your shelf is straight then mark that hole. Drill the hole, place bracket through hole of leg & into the hole in the wall. Hammer the rest of the way in. Hammer the nail in. Repeat for opposite side. Took less than 20 mins.

Great!

I wanted additional support, so I used 2” screws into studs, snipped off the anchor on the back of the hooks and used washers for the bottom so the screw didn’t go through the holes. It turned out great! I use it for my PC so there’s ample airflow and room for a couple other items.

Second time is the charm

The first one arrived wrapped in plastic. It was bent on both ends and the middle. Rusted in place where the paint was missing. Go a replacement which arrived in a box. It works well and was fairly easy to install. I just wish they were heavier duty. Good deal for the price. Glad Amazon customer service was, as usual, great and replaced it quickly.

Nice quality

I found it relatively inexpensive for the amount of storage you get compared to some other closet items. Well made, secure. Fit nicely. Now it takes a bit to out together, measure out, level etc. My husband is a contractor/ handyman so didn't have any issues but if you aren't used to working with levels, measuring, etc , it may take a little longer to make sure it is out together well and the instructions aren't super helpful. He did find it easier to reference to tape the instructions to the inside of the closet where he was building it for reference. Looks great once completed

Shelf

Did not use the brackets and hardware included. I've used this as a slide on shelf on an existing rail and bracket setup in my laundry room. It is excellent as the lip stops items from sliding off.

seems pretty good

challenge to put together as all attached to the walls but once it's done it seems pretty good. we'll find out as time goes on how good it really is.
