Affordable smart closet fix!
Our home came with wire, wall mounted, shelf/clothing rod combos in every closet. And every single one pulled out of the wall at some point. Partly because they weren't anchored into studs, and partly my fault because we have a small home and I'm a closet over-loader. My husband reinstalled them properly but when the living room closet rack pulled out, I wanted to look for a better storage set up that included jacket hanging capability and found this. Love, love, love it. What you need to know: -putting it together was easy, for me. I'm a 63 year old female and I had it together by myself, in under an hour -the clothes rod on the bottom doesn't seem essential to the stability of the unit. I may take it out in the future so dresses would hang freely (and yes, I would have to partially take the unit apart and put it back together, and while it wouldn't be fun, I'd do it. I'd also do it if they made additional shelves available for purchase) -I wouldn't plan on putting anything really heavy on the top shelf in the middle. It would probably support it, but with the split shelf construction it might look weird. Don't know, haven't tried it. I have a very large tub of light bulbs up there (don't judge-long story), and blankets as well -while this isn't a heavy duty, garage appliance storage unit, it exactly serves my purpose for extra miscellaneous indoor home storage -keep in mind I live in South Florida and am NOT using this for heavy duty winter coats for a family of 4 -in my pictures, the storage units on the side of the towers were purchased separately -I probably would have given this 5 stars, but each side tower could have used one additional shelf. I could not find shelves sold separately so in two spots my fabric storage cubes are simply sitting on top of each other, which I'm not happy with. In summary, I had every intention of returning this if it turned out to be a piece of junk, but it isn't and I'm glad I purchased it.

This works great!
My house had no closets so I put this together and it fits great on a wall in my bedroom. No written instructions included!! The video was useless! It’s not near enough detailed for the entire thing to be put together!! Luckily I’m pretty good at looking at a picture and putting things together!!!

Nightmares begin here
This putting this rack together was a total nightmare. The parts are hard to tell them apart from which is top bottom and middle but once it got up, took me all day to put this stupid little rack together but I do like it. It’s a very nice rack I recommend it just be patient putting it together.

Versatile and Easy to Assemble
I didn't time myself, but it took me a couple of hours to put it together, but mostly because I was interrupted several times. Follow the directions, and you'll be fine. The rim part on the shelves faces down (not up, which is what made sense to me, but I found out that it's designed that way), and then the little plastic gizmos that go on the poles are wedged into place when you press it down, so each shelf sits firmly in place. The poles have evenly-spaced indentations for measuring, so you can make the shelves on both sides even if you like. This is handy for setting up the rail for hangers. PLUS the plastic covers for the shelving are included! It's great that it's expandable, because you can set up one side at a time and then position each one into place, then put the rail in. Lightweight, but sturdy. Good value for the money.

Building this reminds me of replacing spark plugs
This will hold a lot of clothes and that's what it is excellent for. I used in my small kitchen for storing oats and stuff and while it's functional that's not what it was designed for so, it doesn't utilize the space in the most efficient way possible. For plates or something it would be great because you can stack them pretty high but, unless you plan on attaching it with the included anti tip hardware then, I wouldn't because if there isn't a lot of weight at the bottom it is not sturdy. I weighted mine down with 80lbs of rice on the bottom of each tower and it's not moving unless you really try to topple it. Ok pro's/cons and what you should look out for when building it. Pros: holds 100lbs per shelf and a total weight capacity of 1500lbs. Easy to build and maneuver were you need it. Lightweight only weights 37lbs fully constructed. Versatile applications. Cons: Lightweight is also a double edged blade here because a child could easily topple this over if you don't take care to weight it down at the bottom shelves. Shelves aren't wide enough but, only by a few inches. A bit wobbly so, you have to play around with the screw feet at the bottom to get it to sit right. Build advice: 1. Familiarize yourself with all the parts and lay them out first with all the bags open already. The black clips especially because they have an labeled up position and I put them all together first so when you need to use them you just seperate them and slide ½ over the rod until it stops sliding and clips then attach the other ½, which will not fully connect 100% only 90%. 2. Have a mallet and a phillips handy. The mallet is the more useful tool as you need to pound the metal squares into the clips a few times to get them to seat correctly. You only need the philips for 4 screws and whomever engineered this was actually pretty clever. 3. Pay attention to the diagram at the back of the manual it comes with. You have to count the notches in the diagram to get the black clips in the right place so that it's perfect where the tops line up in the end and they actually are accurate in the number of notches but, they could have been illustrated larger so, you might need a magnifying glass if you can't see that well. 4. Pay attention to the orientation of the squares and make sure if you put them so that the bars are horizontal or vertical that all the rest are too or it won't line up ever so slightly when it's done.

Sturdy and amazing.
Exactly as shown. Sturdy, adjustable side shelves, easy to put together, expandable and yes holds a good amount of weight when fully expanded. Will be buying again.

We love ours!
Literally took me about 40 minuites to assemble. Points of note:- -the instructions are useless. However, common sense works fine. -The poles we got had the wrong ends in and this confused us at the end for ages. All the poles are exactly the same. If you get to the end and you're left with one or two wrong ends for the top of the shelf poles; they just come off. Problem solved. -theres a weird amount of spares. We had them too. -when fully extended we found it helpful to drill two screws into the wall behind the wardrobe to kind of... hook the floating edge of the shelf on (when it's made and assembled this will make sense) the shelf otself is actually really sturdy. Weve got 3 bedding boxes on top of ours so it holds a fair amount of weight. -ignore the instructions that say no tools. You 100% need two flatheads or butter knives to screw some of the bits together (one to hold one side secure, one to screw) -Dont worry about the rail weight. No joke, I own about 50 addidas hoodies and the rail is good ???? The final result is actually really nice ???? we werent expecting much but some fairy lights, fake ivy and some pretty storage boxes up the sides really do make it alot more than basic. If you're looking for an alcove filler, or a cheap wardrobe that far surpasses those god awful canvas wood monstrosities, this is the one. Quick to put up, I imagine it will be quick and simple to take down. The space it fits is crazy... me and my bf share it. I'd recommend 100%. Its abit of a pain to move around so make it where you want it to be but other than that we love ours!
