Fits in a 5 gallon bucket

It's a durable and ergonomic scoop. But the part that meant the most to me is that you can scoop things out of a standard 5 gallon bucket with the scoop getting stuck. I use this scoop for animal food at a rescue/sanctuary, and every other large scoop I tried was too long and couldn't tip upward while inside the 5 gallon buckets. At this point I've ordered 6 of them because we use them all over the place. 2 years since we got the first one and none have cracked or broken.

I used it for dog food mother-in-law uses it for wood pellets

I use the scoop for dog food and my mother-in-law uses it for pellet stove pellets and often I use it as a puke bucket it works wonderful no mess and then I took a steam cleaner to it a little yellow teapots type thing and it cleaned up brand new couldn't even tell nothing this is durable super high quality I want to marry it get it

Perfect

I was contemplating on just buying a gallon of milk and making this myself but I’m glad I opt for spending a bit more. This is made a a sturdier plastic and it doesn’t buckle under the weight of scooping cat litter. It’s easy to clean and so far static free. Overall a good purchase for what I needed.

Can hold a lot of heavy weight

I bought this to scoop pellets for my pellet stove and it works great. Super sturdy and holds a good amount

Not the strongest

Usually a fan of the Rubbermaid brand but this item was not really suited to what I was going to use it for… spreading ice melt on the driveway. It is light weight construction probably better suited to bulk food handling rather than an abrasive granular product like ice melt. Gave this to the neighbours for their cat’s litter and bought a heavier duty scoop designed for ice meting products.

Caution! misleading pricing!

The amazon order page for this item says that the price is $16.71 ($2.79 / scoop) which means that if you pay $16.71 you should get six scoops. 16.71 / 2.19 = 6. This is not what you get. You get one scoop at $16.71. Very misleading and very disappointing. Hopefully this was not intentional misleading on the part of Amazon. The product itself seems to be good quality.

Good scoop

I use this scoop to spread road salt on my sidewalk and driveway in the winter. It is large enough to scoop a fair bit of salt and sturdy enough to handle the job. It is probably more money than some people would be willing to pay, but I went through two "cheaper" scoops in the past so decided to spend a bit more money to get something more durable for the job. So far so good. It's only been a few months, but I think this one will last a long time.

Great for filling my bird feeder

I keep sunflower seeds in a metal garbage pail, with a locking lid, outside near the feeder. Raccoons etc can't get to the seeds. Three scoops of seeds is enough to fill the feeder. A lot easier than carrying a pail of seeds from the house and using a measuring cup to fill the feeder.

Good size and shape for scooping large amounts of dry food / litter

I bought this to scoop new kitty litter into the cat box. the shape and size is just right. Easy to use with one hand, doesn't spill. Would be great for animal feed as well.
