Awesome, durable leads. Perfect for crossties.

I love these leads... But not for leading. ???? I use them for crossties! The way the rope goes through the buckle and isn't sewn or clamped to it, makes it a really tough lead. Paired with the heavy duty bullsnap, and this bad boy is nearly unbreakable. Perfect for horses who like to test the crossties or teaching a horse to tie. Since it's virtually unbreakable, it won't reinforce pull-back behavior because it's not going to break when the horse sits back. But since it's a rope instead of a crosstie with snaps, I can have a safe, quick-release knot where it's tied to my posts just in case a horse may freak out and get themselves into a pickle. Just wish there were more color options, like black or teal. ????

Love these leads, I always had cotton leads before

Love these leads, I always had cotton leads before but lately we are finding them to be very insecure, deteriorating quickly and breaking under pressure. Recently my wife's draft horse nearly caused a big accident when a rope snapped with a small tug (this is a draft horse issue) She LOVES that the clip is replaceable and the bull clip is the best for these big guys.

Not totally what I expected

I like the clasp but the rope is not as thick as I would like. It is also slick so when you tie horse the knots slip. I actually went to the feed store and bought another one.

POORLY MADE

When I opened the rope, there was a snag in the rope before I even got it out of the house. The snap appears to be hefty and hopefully if my colt has a pull back incident it wont break...the end has some sort of plastic on it to keep the nylon threads together, but it is poorly done and appears with a short amount of use, it will not do it's job.
