Easy to tune good antenna for the price.
So was little 50/50 on it when I bought but now that I have it I'll say for a budget antenna with a shorter length it's bang for the buck. Mounted on an nmo to cb antenna adapter. Tuned it with an swr meter which the process was super easy just adjust the rings up or down to dial it in. Was able to get about 1.2 on the swr which is more than Exceptable in my book for a low wattage cb. For what it is 10 out of 10 for functionality just don't plan on the greatest look on build quality we will see how well it does in the long run.

Works well and very easy to tune.
I have this on top of my 4x4 SUV so I need something that can take a little bit of a beating and not cost a fortune if it does get damaged or broken. I was very impressed by how easy this was to tune. The tuning method is a little different from what u have seen elsewhere but it seems to work very nicely especially on my vehicle. I have an antenna mount connected to a "luggage" rack on top of the vehicle and as a result fit does not provide the best RF ground for the antenna. I've found that a lot of CB antennas generally resonate almost a full MHz higher in frequency. With a cross needle SWR meter in hand this antenna was installed and calibrated to less than 1.5 across the whole band in less than 5 minutes. Not bad for compromise antenna on a compromise mount. I only use cb during road trip caravans or off-road use with friends. After using this weekend with a completely stock 4 watt radio I was overall fairly happy with the performance. With the RF gain turned way down we had no trouble maintaining contact within 1-2 miles outside the city and in the woods. Inside the city the range was bad but mostly due to electrical interference. When the RG gain was up I could still hear tons of long distance contacts which I try to avoid. In short this has less wind load than a fire stick antenna but is very close in adjustability which is great. The flexible whip should be able to take some abuse and at the $20ish price point I think it is a good value if you just need a basic antenna for simple uses. If you are running illegal power and looking to be the biggest voice in the state this might not fit your needs but for general use at moderate and under power, this is a good buy.

Not that great
I could tune it at best little over two. When keyed up does not put out that much. Barely moves the trans meter. Went back to my fire stick and the radio worked fine

Works well and tunes easily
Was expecting it to have a higher SWR than it did right it of the package considering where it's mounted (fender mount on a pickup truck). It tuned very easily and had clear reception. I'm am really surprised how well it performs.

Looks great, very easy to tune
I bought this antenna to replace the mag mount Little Wil which had sat on my Suburban's roof for a couple of years (it was supposed to be temporary). I chose this antenna because it looks very similar to the Larsen NMO2/70B ham antenna I had already installed on the driver's side of the hood, and I wanted to mount the RoadPro in a symmetrical fashion on the passenger side. I installed it on a Firestik SS-174 stainless steel hood channel bracket and connected it to my CB radio via a Firestik K-8R18 coax cable (with Fire-Ring connector). I cut the cable to length and soldered on the included connector. It was all a very simple, straightforward process. Out of the box, the antenna was way out of tune; my meter showed 2.5 SWR on channel 1 and 3.4 SWR on channel 40. Not to worry, since tuning this antenna could not be easier--you simply loosen the two chrome rings at the base of the antenna, twist them up or down the shaft as needed, then re-snug them. It took me a few times adjusting them, but eventually I got it down to 1.1 SWR across the board (checked on channels 1, 20 and 40). Looks great, very easy to tune, and offers little wind resistance. What's not to love? This antenna is a fantastic value.

Easy to tune
Easy to tune down to 1.1 with very little adjustments to the rings. So far have had a range of 5 miles with no problem on my McKinley radio on am. Haven’t tested sideband yet.

Great ears tunes easy
Not 36 inches. The box says 30 inches my tape measure reads 28. That's why i knocked it a star. I would have knocked it a few more if it didn't work as good as it does. My SWR is lower than with my 102" without the spring 1.1 and 4 watts on all channels. That's better than any of my fiberglass ones. And i really like that it tunes from the bottom. Getting that vinyl cap off and reaching the top of the antenna isn't the worst thing ever but it sure is nice when you don't have too.

Good Antenna
A great antenna for the person who is casually into CB’s. It’s not the antenna for modified or amplified CB’s. Perfect for communicating to others within a mile range. Easily tunable because all over adjustments can be corrected unlike an antenna that is cut.
