nice scale, fish gripper is lacking
I've been using this scale for a year now, it seems to be pretty accurate. The fish gripper is lacking however. two things. 1. I've had several large bass shake themselves off the fish gripper, 2. it always seems to come off the scale when I'm looking for it, i.e. it's not secure to the hook on the scale. When I turn the scale on, I want the gripper to be on there so it tare's out a 0.0. Unfortunately, I'll turn it on then realize the fish gripper isn't attached and have to go through the process again. And since I've had several bass shake themselves off the gripper, I use my catfish grips now and just deduct the weight of them, instead of hassling with the fish grippers.

Weighs in lb and kg.
It's easy to use and as far as I can tell is accurate. The only thing I don't like is that it can change from lb to kg depending on how you turn it on with the on button. I don't know what I do when I push it but it changes, but they all do that.

Lightweight and handy
This product was very easy to use and easy to carry around. The weight was mostly accurate from all the fish that I caught. The only downside to this product was that it got very hot when using it and melted the plastic on the sides.

Compact, easy to use
Nicely priced, good value, works well. I now accurately weigh, instead of guess at, every fish I catch. Includes a built in tape to measure the length. Great buy

I received this as a Christmas gift. I have not gotten the opportunity to try it to see how it works because of the winter here in the Midwest. The only reason I gave four stars was because I haven’t had the opportunity to actually put it to use yet. Once the weather breaks, I’m looking forward to seeing how this performs. I will say that when I turned it on, I was surprised how bright and clear the screen was. I was happy to know that the screen was backlit making it very easy to see. I will write another review when I finally test it out on the water.

Got this in the mail, it didn't come with battery but not a big deal. It work pretty good and weight pretty accurate so far. However, the reason I only give it a 4 star because I only got it for a day and just testing it out around the house so I don't know how it will hold up in the long term. Will take it out and see how it do for fishing. Also one thing I don't like is that it don't weight in ounce, you have to convert the decimal into ounce which you will have to multiply the decimal number by 16 to find out how many ounce.

Very happy with the product.
Love being able to attach the lip grip before hanging the fish on the scale, but a it's a good idea to attach a small string in case you drop it. Tested it and quite accurate. Nice to be able to measure as the fish is being weighed. Only problem is I can no longer exaggerate the weight and size of my fish...

Excellent product and value
You get a lot for the money...simply put this scale is accurate and has features that may or may not be found in more expensive scales and the measuring tape is such a bonus. Battery required are 2 triple AAA which are more available then those CR 2032 type battery. Would totally recommend this scale...Tight lines to all.

ACCURATE SCALE
4 stars because Gripper attachment wouldn't hold the weight of a large fish (i.e. it was 4 pounds). Otherwise, it's a great scale that's worthy of 5 stars!
