Excellent Quality, Crisp Lines, Sturdy, Many Uses!
These cookie cutters are wonderful. They are very strong and sturdy, and the letters are very crisp and clear - exactly what I wanted - cookie cutters that really show the letter shape, without having to guess. They also have to stand up to repeated use, since you never make just one cookie, and to getting the dough out cleanly. These do. They are also uniformly sized - all are 2 1/2 inches tall, with width that varies based of course on the letter - Full letters like G, O, Q, W for example, are 2 1/2 inches wide; Z, X, S are 1 3/4 inches wide, U, Y, P, N, T, etc., are not quite 2 inches wide. So this makes for a very uniform clean look, which is what I wanted - sturdy, well-made and well -crafted cookie cutters that I could use for many years, for a variety of uses, not just flimsy ones for use just during nursery school years. For example, I purchased these to make a tray of cookies for my daughter's wedding, in the shapes of the initials of the first names of the couple. Other times I have used letters for an alumni event for my university, or a local team, or anniversary, etc. And of course they are useful for activities with little kids learning to read and write, as well! I am a master baker, I bake cookies of various textures and doughs, and I wanted a cookie cutter that would stand up well. Often cutters are cute, but getting dough out of the corners can be difficult if it is not well made, and gets to a point that it is not worth the effort in something where you are making not one, but many, as you do with cookies. So it was worth it to me to pay a bit more to get better quality. These are made that way - sturdy, easy to use, easy to clean, you get a crisp outline, and very uniformly sized to make for a nice clean look on a tray or decorating a cake or whatever. One final thing - I had smaller alphabet cookie cutters, but they were very time consuming to use, and would only work for certain kinds of dough, or probably better for candy, rather than cookies. These make a good sized cookie - one that is a good size for eating, and for a pretty tray of them.

Adorable alphabet cookies!
These cookie cutters made the most adorable alphabet cookies for my daughter’s second birthday party! Each kid decorated their own letter and loved it. I used a sugar cookie recipe and I think they kept their shape very well. Would highly recommend for adorable cookies.

Rusted with a few splashes of water in the sink
The quality is lacking. These feel like the cheapest stainless steel if they can even be called, "stainless." They rusted with a few splashes of water in the sink. They were not soaking in a sink full of water; they were barely wet. Even aside from the rusting issue, I immediately felt disappointed when I opened the package. I spent $22 and change on these, they should be much better quality. These feel like dollar store items. My son was trying to clean off the rust and now it has cut his finger. Sorry these are getting returned. Not worth it.

Perfect size.
I love these cookie cutters. I have a huge collection of cookie cutters and have been making cut out cookies for every occasion for 25 years. This set of cutters has all of the features I like. They are the perfect size to make a "normal" size cookie. That way they bake evenly and are a good serving size. Many alphabet cutters I've found to be way too small. I also prefer a tin cookie cutter. Although that means they have to be hand washed and dried to avoid rust, they give a much sharper, cleaner cut. It's very easy to cut the dough with them. I'm storing them in the box they came in to keep them from getting bent. I bought this set to spell out MIT PHD for my son's graduation party. They will be versatile to use for any occasion, especially those where there isn't another "theme" cookie cutter that will work. I can create cookies to spell out names, initials, or words that mark any event. Great product, great fun! And, they arrived fast. Love that about Amazon.

solid cutter but concern about letters with internal cutouts
Haven't gotten around in using them yet but they seem to be well made & sturdy. The one concern I have is for letters such as letters A,D etc with the internal cutout is that the pieces holding the internal cutout is located about 1/2 the thickness of the cutter so I was going to use them to cut out some cake pieces, these things holding the internal cutout will cause issue and limit how thick my cut is - I guess the work around would be to mark the cake with the cutter and do it manually if I wanted to cut something thicker than where those connecting pieces are. It's just creating extra work that I wish I didn't have to do
