Works with other aero bars

I have installed these risers on both my bike (Pro Design T3+ aero bars) and my wife's bike (Oval 350 aero bars) with excellent results. They dramatically improved the comfort of riding in the aero position. On my 30 minute loop, I went from being able to maintain an aero position for 5-10 minutes to being able to maintain 25+ minutes on the bars without discomfort. This is a huge improvement. A couple of things to note about using these Pro Design risers with other brand bars. Using the Oval 350 bars as an example, you must check the size of the handlebar tubes and the aero bar bolts. These risers are designed for round handlebar tubes where the stem mount clamps them. There are two pretty standard size handle bar tube sizes (smaller and larger). These risers fit the larger. If you have the smaller, your existing shims should fit nicely. The second issue is the bolts. These risers come with M6 bolts to fit. Some existing aero bars are clamped on using M5 or other sized bolts. I don't know if you can find the 70mm long M6 bolts at the hardware store, so you should be careful to check your "bolt size" before buying. I used my M6 tapping bits to enlarge the existing M5 threaded holes on the Oval 350 aero bars. This worked nicely. I did have to use a larger bit to bore out a recess for the M6 bolt head. This worked very nicely, but it does require some tapping bits and a little DIY modification. If you screw it up, you cannot go back to the smaller holes. Easy Install, Comfort Improvement

These were really easy to install and provided the change in arm pad setup that I needed to find that comfortable spot in the aero position. Can't recommend them enough!

Also Works With Felt Handlebars

The 70mm aluminum risers raise the aerobars roughly 2 1/4 inches. Though not intended, these risers work with my 2014 Felt B14 handlebars. These risers made a world of difference for several reasons. Stock on my B14, the elbow pads sat flush on the handlebars, making it difficult to grab the inner potion of the handlebars. The risers create space between the aerobars and handlebars, allowing full grip of the handlebar. By using these risers, I was able to remove some spacers from the stem. This lowered the handlebars but raised the elbow pads and aerobars, greatly increasing the usability of the cockpit. Also, raising the elbow pads / aerobars added quite a bit of comfort. I'm able to crush longer rides without strain or pain. By removing the spacers at the stem, I'm still getting significant aero gains–however, if I want to get an even more aggressive position in the future, I may purchase the 40mm or 50mm set. Totally worth the money for these risers–one of the best upgrades I've done.

great addition to ease into your race position

Add these to me Felt IA16 in about 7 minutes, and on the first few test rides (c.30 miles) I could feel the position was much easier on my lower back. Yes there was a slight loss of speed (c.0.3 mph on the longer straights with similar wattage) but for the improvement in comfort it was well worth it!

Very solid - adds comfort for indoor biking

Takes about 1/2 hour to install - requires holding a few components together with one hand and using an Allen wrench to fasten them together. A third hand might be helpful. Not much to the item (as shown) but it's extremely solid. Good solution for indoor riding but it should be great for outdoor as well. FYI: the first time my purchase was delivered, the package did not include all the parts, nor was the cardboard items for holding the components together in the (opened and unsealed) bag included. I don't know what they're thinking sending this crap out. They replaced it right away but you have to get the original item back to UPS to complete the replacement.

Works as advertised

Easy install, probably need more height as I ride with a very straight up/rigid posture. The design is horrible unfortunately. The higher the lift, the further away from the rider the TT bars go. This causes the rider to sit differently than when just using the handle bars normally, and results in discomfort in the saddle. The lifts should be angle designed so that the bars go straight up from the stem or even slightly towards the rider. Unfortunately, to get this attention to detail, need to buy a different set of TT bars first, and make sure you research the lifts then to make sure it raises the bars how you would need it.

Not much metal for the money

Well made, but not much for the money. Although it didn't claim to be any more. Using mine for a competitor's tri bar and it will need modifying. So best avoided if it is not for a Profile bar.
