Great fit, but missing important part

I ordered this product specifically for the grommet tip. When I received the product, it did not have a grommet tip in the bag. It clearly stated one was to be in the bag, as well as showed a picture (see attached). Fortunately, I was able to use the current parts for another application. However, I need to order another one for the original application. If I order a new one, will I get one with a grommet tip?

Not what was pictured.

I ordered these as a replacement when my original poles were smashed during a tree fall incident. The poles I owned had the adjustable clips, like was pictured in the advertisement. The poles I got are twist to adjust, which will not work for my boat. I am very unhappy.

Nice product, Way overpriced

Nice product. Ridiculously priced. Not a whole lot of bang for the buck. I will search for a cheaper alternative.

Does the job, but a broader base would make me feel better

It doesn't have a broad base, which is what I really would've preferred. It's just a pole with a rubber foot like on the bottom of a folding chair. That said, it seems to be doing the job well enough and replaces the cheap plastic segmented version (with several of the segments broken) that came with my otherwise great boat cover.

I have found that Taylor Made produces a great product and is a very good value. I found this pole to be of high quality and lightweight. It is a perfect replacement to hold up my canvas boat cover. They create a highly flexible product that will work as described: • Male canvas snap • Grommet tip and • A pain end cap The only feature that I am do not like it the locking method. I prefer a lever (like on a bicycle seat post) rather than the twist style. I highly recommend

I feel like these are more expensive than they should be. They are very heavy duty, but such a basic product. Either way, they did exactly what I expected but I think they should cost less.

The rubber stopper at the bottom was missing on arrival, but the company sent another along when contacted. Good people. I’m satisfied.

Works great

The product is very sturdy and stays in place well considering it really isn’t attached to my cover in any way. Make sure you get the measurement of the height you need as they only adjust so far. I have yet to use mine through a winter yet so we will see how it holds up in the snow. I saw other reviews complaining how they twist to lock in place, I would say this shouldn’t be an issue because how much down pressure do you have on the support?

Forget the cheap plastic supports, this is what you really need.

Forget about the cheap plastic boat cover supports...this product will solve everything. I bought 2 of the cheap plastic supports, both broke within a couple of weeks. This will not break.
