Easy, and Makes Perfect Popcorn!
I'm so glad I got this, it was a little treat for my 6-year-old twins. The astonishment and joy while watching it make the popcorn was worth the price! I really dislike the oily flavor of microwave popcorn, and the smell it leaves in the microwave, so we just never make popcorn at home. But that won't do--my children are getting to be the age when it's fun to have a family movie, and popcorn should go with that. This was so quick and effortless! I just added butter, and it was tasty and crunchy. No mess after, and no lingering smell from the Presto. I looked up instructions on how to make popcorn on the stovetop, and I will try that, but I suspect this PopLite will be the default method for making popcorn. We could have had one of these years ago! I remember my grandmother having one in the 80s, and how much I liked her popcorn. I'd forgotten, until I bought this. I also have an electric skillet made by Presto, I use it nearly every day, and it works flawlessly after 10 years! So I didn't hesitate to choose a Presto gadget again, and I'll update this review if necessary.

Pop your way to happiness with the Presto Poplite
As a self-proclaimed popcorn enthusiast, I've tried my fair share of popcorn poppers over the years. But the Presto Poplite Popper has truly blown me away with its efficiency, convenience, and, most importantly, delicious popcorn! The first thing I noticed about this popper is its vibrant yellow color. It adds a fun and playful touch to my kitchen and never fails to put a smile on my face. But what really sets this popper apart is its lightning-fast popping speed. In just a few short minutes, I can have a full bowl of perfectly popped popcorn ready to go. One thing I appreciate about the Presto Poplite is its compact size. It doesn't take up much counter space, making it perfect for small kitchens or apartments. And when I'm done using it, the popper is easy to clean and store away. But let's talk about the popcorn itself. The Presto Poplite produces fluffy, evenly cooked popcorn every time. And because it uses hot air instead of oil, it's a healthier option for those watching their calorie intake. Plus, I love that I can control the amount of butter and seasoning I add to my popcorn, giving me endless flavor options. Overall, I highly recommend the Presto Poplite Popper to anyone looking for a fast, convenient, and delicious way to enjoy popcorn. Trust me, once you try this popper, you'll never go back to microwave popcorn again!

quick and easy to use
What I like about this air popper is that you don't need oil to make it. I have to eat hull less popcorn and microwave and most popcorn bought on the shelf is with hulls. But my store does carry one brand of hull less and I can air pop this and add butter when it is done. It is done in no time and it has an easy measure plastic piece that goes on the top you can add butter to melt in it while it pops. Because it pops so quick you can make many batches in no time. The only thing to me is that it shoots the popcorn out so fast that you definitly need a tall bowl to put under it to catch it all. It pops most of the popcorn with very few unpopped kernels.

Pops quickly
This popper is very easy to use, just plug it in and let the corns pop. It does a very good job getting to the majority of the corn kernels. I usually only find one or two kernels that didn't pop. This is easy and safe enough for young children to handle and have fun with.

Makes popcorn in under 5 mins
Overall happy with airpopper but just a few minor annoyances -- 1) the clear plastic stop doesn't lock into base - just gravity holds it in place. My fear is that it's kinda easy to bump it and I could see it go flying off and crashing and breaking on the floor. The good thing is there a small knob on the back - I presume maybe for the power cord to wrap around -- so I placed a rubber band around it and it keeps the top attached to the base enough to keep it from flying off. 2) there is no power switch --- have to plug and unplug the cord. I might add a switch myself - I seem to recall you can buy a switch and attach it to the cord. 3) the measuring lid is handy to measure the kernels but it doesn't lock into place -- again, it make me nervous that it will get knocked off and break -- obviously you see I've had some experience with plastic items meeting gravity and losing. It's quick to pop -- the first 2 minutes or so is just heating up the kernels - I noticed that older kernels took longer, less of them popped and slightly smaller than the fresher the kernels we had. I've only used Orville Reddenbocker kernels and it pops pretty big and fluffy. Have not used the measuring cup for butter melting so can't comment - we add some olive oil instead of the butter. I would buy again -- happy enough -- not sure if anything else that is better. We have a microwave corn popper and while we like it, the time can vary a lot and you have to babysit and listen to when to turn off microwave so you don't burn it. So the airpopper will make it easier for the family use and no fear of burnt popcorn.

Easy!
This is the best popcorn maker. I’ve had a few in my day and this one is 10/10. It is so easy! The popcorn doesn’t fly everywhere, the cord wraps up easy, and the butter dish is the measuring cup for the kernels. Love it!

Healthy Popcorn?
This item is easy-peezy. Put popcorn kernel scoop into maker, plug in, put bowl below spout and voila in 2-3 minutes, popped corn. You can use the scoop on top of the machine to melt butter but popcorn popping is too fast to really melt a quarter of a cold butter brick, so just heat it some other way, Very few kernels are left unpopped. About the only critique is that some kernels are prematurely ejected by the constant churning of the kernels by the underlying hot air, but you can just toss them back in: just don't hold them too long as they are hot. And clean up is relegated to washing your bowl and simply wiping your machine with cloth or tissue.

The popper to get!
My family and I have had many hot-air poppers through the years. They've all had one problem: They ejected lots of unpopped kernels. We'd even gotten used to feeding them back through the machine avoid wasting most of them. After doing this again the other night, I thought, "Enough. We're well into the 21st century. Certainly someone has, by now, created a popper that doesn't spit out as much corn as it pops." Hundreds of user reviews later (hey, we take this stuff seriously), we decided to order a Presto PopLite. Would it live up to the hype?: "In test after test, the Presto PopLite hot air popper out popped other leading brands, popping up to 30% faster with virtually no unpopped kernals..." We were willing to overlook the misspelling of "kernels", but it still seemed like a lot to live up to. From the moment we opened the box, we had the impression it was a quality product. It's more sturdily made than our other poppers. Sure, it's plastic, but there's no feeling of cheapness. This is a solid, substantial appliance. Carefully following the instructions, we washed this hood and combination scoop/butter-melter in warm, soapy water and allowed them to dry. We wiped down the base unit with a damp cloth. (Despite companies's cleanliness efforts, anything that's been through a factory can be dusty.) I then added popcorn up to the fill line (using a single, leveled-off scoop), put everything in place, and plugged 'er in. And I'm here to tell you, as one popcorn-maker to another: This is the popper to get. It's impossible to make a popper of this style that ejects NO unpopped kernels. But with this one, rather than 30 or 40, you may get 3 or 4. Impressive! As far as I can tell, it's thanks to two aspects of its design: • Rather than directing the hot air into the chamber from the sides, it comes directly from the bottom, blowing the kernels up rather than around at all angles. So rather than shooting out of the popper, they fall right back in. (It also creates a "fountain of kernels" effect that's so fun, Presto could've cited it as a feature.) • The hood's clever shape slows (but doesn't block) the popped corn's exit just enough to keep the unpopped kernels contained. The corn came out big and fluffy. The PopLight is substantially quieter than our previous poppers, too. It's a class act all around, and only a tad more dough than poppers that don't come close to its build or performance. If you do get this swell popper—and I hope you do—you may find these useful: • The popper's motor is powerful enough to cause it to move slowly across smooth surfaces (like our quartz countertop). We solved this by placing a 6" square of anti-skid webbing under it, the kind made for keeping rugs in place. (You should have one in your kitchen drawer anyway; they're awesome for opening stubborn jars.) • The instructions warn against overfilling, but don't underfill either. Using the recommended amount helps keep the corn in place till it starts popping. And no matter which popper you use—if you DO get more ejects than you'd like, try placing a breadboard under the unit's front feet (being sure it's still stable, with no chance it'll tip over.) This encourages airborne kernels to fall farther back in the machine.

Worked well, but didn’t last long.
Great popcorn maker, but it stopped working after 10 months.
