Best male “underwear for dog
These pooch pants work! My dog is a Houdini! He can escape just about anything. I even had to get suspenders for the other kind. That Velcro really grips and he has only got them off once. I think it was Mom error though!

Finally a wrap that my dog cannot get off!!!
Before finding this wrap, I had tried nearly all doggie diapers and doggie wraps for my young puppy "Pooper". Pooper is 1/2 German Shepard, 1/4 Boxer and 1/4 Cocker Spaniel and he has been a nightmare to try to potty train to go outside, as he has refused to go outside no matter what we've tried. We've finally trained him to go "number 2" on potty pads and 75% of the time he will urinate on the potty pads, but, sometimes he misses. So, we use these wraps just in case he has an accident. These are the first wraps that I've found that Pooper cannot chew or wrestle his way out of, though he certainly did try. The velcro used to close this wrap is very tough. It's like the velcro that is used on blood pressure cuffs, it's very sturdy and closes very tightly. I'm also pleased with the quality of the material used on the wrap itself. It's very thick and it's not something that a dog will chew through. I haven't had this wrap leak either. I have used this wrap with a liner and without with equal non-leaking results. Though, I do prefer to line this wrap with a large overnight maxi-pad I use these:Always Maxi Overnight Extra Heavy Flow with Wings, Unscented Pads, 20 Count (Pack of 2) . If you use 2 of these maxi-pads you likely will not need to wash the wrap, thus extending the life of the velcro. I do wish that this company would also design and sell an optional disposable liner with this that would fit it exactly. I did wash this wrap and it seemed to hold up well, but, I do think that after several washings that the velcro will likely weaken. So, I am trying to always line this with the maxi-pads. Overall, I'd highly recommend this wrap, it's sturdy and doesn't leak. Though, I would be sure to measure your dog is you have a heavy dog or large dog. They do seem to be sized a bit small, though the large fits my dog perfectly.

Regained my sanity!!
My dog is potty trained, he is also wee wee pad trained so he has the option to go on the the pad if we do not get home on time for his walk. We trained him the day we brought him home when he was 9 weeks old. He is now turning 4 and for some reason started to pee by the entrance of the kitchen (on carpet) which is just a few steps from his wee wee tray and pad. His wee wee pad is always clean (also pooch pads brand) but he still goes on the carpet, the same spot every time. For the past few months, i have been steam cleaning my carpet like crazy and even wound up putting pooch pads by the entrance of the kitchen. I bought the tinkle belt which is also a type of male wrap but it did not work for us. Despite adding a pad to it, it left me with a big mess.. a trail of pee on carpet and a pee soaked dog. I went ahead and purchased the pooch pad in a size small, my dog's waist is 14 inches but the sizing is way off and it would not fit (it was too small). I ordered the medium size and it now fits well. It is a little bulky but it does hold a lot of pee and is leak proof. It is also a little stiff so make sure not to put on your dog too tight so they do not get bruises from the elastic. I am very happy with the purchase, I have reclaimed my apartment (from the dog) and regained my sanity. Update: This male wrap works really well with incontinence pads. I place a pad inside & then just throw it away once it's soiled. This way, I do not have to wash the pads as often (only when it's warranted) and my dog does not soak in pee the whole day.

Poochpads are great
Good quality material and workmanship. I have 2 of these and also the Vet male wraps that look like a feminine product (!) These poochpad wraps are quite stiff and you have to get it on pretty tight. Also, need to wash them in the washer by themselves with the velcro area closed or they will pick up lint on the velcro. The velcro area is quite large and I wish it was smaller. I have washed them about 30 times and they have some tiny holes from wear from being washed already. I use the Vet male wraps more than these since the wraps fit tighter. These Poochpad wraps are handy for the car. I wish they made some that are colorful and softer. Both types of wraps seem to be a little uncomfortable for my little Chihuahua. He is 10 yrs old and he will still lift his leg, even with either of these wraps on, but rarely does anything gets wet, so that is the most important thing. I have used the poochpads that lay on the floor for him for all his life. They are great and wash up nice. They are in his bed and food area and he has to have one that is arranged with the upper end vertical clipped on a metal chair rung, so he aims at that. One of those last about a year. My daughter's female Chihuahua potties on her poochpad and never misses.

Works well
I have an 80lb male german shepherd. He has an issue with holding his bladder for long periods of time. I found myself having to leave him alone for 7 hours at a time for a while (due to a work issue) and sometimes he would be fine, and sometimes I would find puddles. And with an 80lb dog they aren't small puddles. I bought this in hopes that it would help our problem. It works well. I do however, recommend putting something inside for additional absorption if you have a larger dog. It does work well with out it too... but I think it was more comfortable for him to wear when I had the additional padding in there. I tried the diaper liners, which are only maxi pads really. They do serve the purpose, but they don't stay in the diaper where you put them. I ended up using an orange ShamWow. I folded it up and placed it in the diaper and it not only could absorb more if it needed to, but often only the cloth would be wet and the diaper would be dry. So less washings for the diaper (I have several shamwows). My work schedule has changed (again) and we no longer are needing to use the PoochPants but I will not hesitate to use it if I need to again.

Did not fit
I purchased the largest size for my senior dog, knowing that the product would likely be a few inches smaller than what I needed - but with the intent that I would modify it on my own to lengthen it. The reviews for his were fantastic and I was excited to receive this for my senior dog. Despite the size indicator saying it went up to 35", this didn't even go half way around my dogs waist. His waist was measured at 38". I was shocked. I then wrapped it around my waist (I'm a 33" waist) and it would not go around me either. Based on the measurements, this should have fit and it did not. Considering I waited more than a month to receive this product, and at full price, I am very very disappointed and will be returning this.

Do Not Put In Dryer
Great product. Works well with problem pooch. Shrink quite a bit in dryer. Our dog is 25lbs and wears the Large. Too small if you put in dryer. Air dry and you will be fine. Also, close Velcro in wash to avoid everything in your washing machine sticking to the velcro.

Great Product
This item is a comfortable fit for my dog. Although he is a smaller breed (Lhasa Apso) he has lipomas under his belly so I purchased a size large for his comfort. He doesn't mind it at - he is 14 years old and can no longer hold urination for the full night so use it with a liner inside as well. The liners may be purchased a a pet store but I find it much cheaper to purchase the super absorbent maxi-pads.

Strong Velcro, well made
My boy hates belly bands but he just can't helping marking from time to time. I had made some but he would chew them off. This bad is big and wide with amazingly strong velcro. It stays on!!! Well worth the money.

Works perfect!
Love these for my 20 pound senior dog. I have 5! They do shrink over time and be careful what you wash with it with as the strong velcro will ruin other things. Otherwise works perfect!!
