Great product, i have bought several. This one had a manufacturing flaw they didn't fix or disclose before they sent it out.

Good Quality and Nice Fit

Just received my Planet Bike Waterproof Saddle Cover. First impressions, looks to be of good quality materials. The stitching is quality, the tightening cord is good, there are metal grommets where they enter the cover itself so I don't foresee this ripping through the cover material. It fits my Charge road saddle just fine which is an average size road saddle. It does roll up fairly small and has an attached velcro strap to attach it to the rails of your seat. Unfortunately, for me, I have a rather large saddle bag (Revelate Viscacha) that takes up any free space under the seat. With that being said, I can just toss it into the saddle bag itself, as it doesn't take up very much room. Rough measurements when laid flat: Nose to back - 12" Side to side (widest part) - 6"-6 1/4" I've tested it by splashing some water on it and it seems to repel the water just fine. Haven't tested it in real rain as of yet and hopefully I'll never will but it's good to have just in case.

Waterproof material is WEAK

First time out with this seat cover and it leaked through a small hole. I like the way it fits on the bike seat and is stored under the seat when not in use, but the waterproofing material is weak and comes off easily defeating the purpose. I am putting a plastic bag under this seat cover from now on. Hope it works!

It was just ok

WAsn't really water proof, but water resistant. When it was wet for a while, the seat underneath still got wet. But, I just ended up using a showercap instead of this. I leave my bike outside, and this seat cover bleached in the sun into a dark brown/maroon-ish color. This seat cover is not stretchy and rather snug, and didn't fit so well.

Decent

Fits my bike seat really well and keeps it mostly dry. I feel like there is a slight moisture build up between the inside of the cover and the seat when it's really wet outside, but not enough to really be an issue. It's easy on and easy off. I'd recommend it.

Starts waterproof, but..

Good fit. Confirmed that it works on my standard B17 brooks saddle. Worked well in the rain for a few rides, now it's starting to leak. I'm going to find a more durable cover..

Ages poorly in sun and tears easily

It overall was just fine, but it tears easily and decays very quickly from sunlight

It works

This cover works fine, however it is a bit narrow for my saddle. It did stay in place for the first 600 miles of our trip on the the rack of our motorhome.

Good for 1 year only

Bought in november 2018. Installed on my bike seat and fits very well. Unfortunately, it lasted 12 months only!

ACTUALLY WATERPROOF!!!!
