Perfect fit

I was gifted one of the raindrop fountains and my cat became obsessed with it. My cat is obsessed with his water fountain, it’s his favorite thing to drink from. So being able to buy the replacement filters for it is super great. They work for I think it’s 1-2 months and then you just pop another one in and it’s good as new. The water always stays clean and all of the hair that might accumulate gets sucked onto the filter. And I don’t mind the price. I think it’s super reasonable and being able to purchase from the same brand is great.

Fits my older fountain

Yea! I have the older Harmony Ceramic fountain for my cats and dogs. I have been having a hard time finding replacement filters and wasn’t sure these would work even though they did look the same. They fit perfectly!

Great filters

I have used these filters in my Pioneer Pet drinking fountain for many years. They do a good job filtering the water. I change them out every two weeks and sometimes every 12 days.

Keeps cats very satisfied

Once your cat starts drinking from a fountain, he/she will refuse to go back to the bowl. These filters are a cat Mom's must have! They are cheap enough to buy in bulk and easy enough to change (process of cleaning the rest of the bowl however, very time consuming) that they truly keep your pet in great health.

PERFECT!

I have been using these filters in my cats’ drinking fountain for several years and have been pleased. My only suggestions if you order them are: 1) Run tap water through a new filter for a while, tapping it on a towel often. Do both sides. This clears out some of the loose carbon. My cats will not drink the water otherwise because they don’t like the carbon specks floating around. 2) Make sure the seam is toward the top when you install it. Otherwise, it will make the fountain noisy. If you do those two things, these filter should serve you well.

How to get your cats to drink more water

I bought this because one of my cats get UTI's, and obviously isn't getting enough liquid. So I was hoping that this water fountain would encourage them to drink more. BOTH cats now live beside this thing. My long haired cat pretty much bathes in it. They love it. It also serves as a nice water feature for the living room, I placed it on a little table near the window. The pump inside has different settings, so you can have it filter a lot of water, like a geyser, or you can turn it to a low setting where it just tinkles water over the edges. Since my cat likes to get in the fountain while drinking, I put a towel underneath it, so as not to ruin my table. Pros - easy to set up, quiet, make cats drink more, more attractive than other cat fountains Cons - cleaning can be messy if needing to do so when the fountain is more than half full. Although the cord can be unattached from the plug, you still have quite a bit of cord to remove from the fountain when cleaning. Filter housing is plastic, which needs to be cleaned thoroughly each time. I highly recommend this product if you need to get the cats to drink more water. It is simple to use, and the cats love it. I bought mine used, but it is definitely worth the full price.

Great pet fountain

This product arrived only a few days after we ordered it. It was shipped intact and assembly was relatively easy. It took a little while for the pump to start working properly but once it did the water flow was excellent. Our cats love the product and have stopped drinking from their regular water bowls. We noticed a couple of minor things: -The filter didn't remove some of the cat hair from the water, which resulted in the pump's inlet clogging. This was easy to clear once I figured out what the problem was. -I don't know why but there was what looked like a leak on the floor. When I checked it out. There was nothing wrong with either the pump or the product. I don't know what it was but it kept on reappearing. When I put the product in a small empty litter box, the leakage was trapped. The cats don't seem to mind. -The product is somewhat of a pain to disassemble and refill from the water faucet. Because the container is rather shallow, the water sloshes while I walk the fence back to its location. I resolved this by filling another container from the faucet and then dumping the water into the product without disassembling it. Again, this is a minor annoyance that is far outweighed by how much our cats love to drink from it. I would recommend this for any cat owner. For some reason, they love the running water.

Perfect filters

Have gone through many of these filters for my cat water fountain. They always do the job and are reasonably priced. Kind of wish the didn't have to have so much plastic housing around them as I feel like I'm putting a ton in the garbage but I suppose less plastic would make the actual filter part less durable? Maybe the company could make plastic housing that opens up in the future so we could just replace the carbon filter.

Recyclable but poor design of water dish

Cats don't like anything touching their whiskers when they drink water. I actually just replaced this dish with another steel one that didn't require kitty put her head down as far. The design on the other bowl is great BUT what I realized is that the filters for the teardrop fountain were much better because you can disassemble them and recycle them. I used the activated carbon in my house plants and put the plastic casing in the recycling. This new fountain only had disposable filters. Which sucks because we already have too much disposable plastic crap in this world. Also the pump WILL die every few years and need to be replaced.
