Great Product, But Room For Improvement!
This ramp is extremely useful for getting my 115 pound Golden Retriever in and out of my Land Rover Discovery II. It is fairly sturdy and has a strong hinge section. I have noted two things about this product, however, which leave something to be desired. Firstly, the company has to expect two things from the consumers who use their product. One, that you will be stowing it in the vehicle in all weather conditions when it is not being actively deployed. Two, that the user will likely be using some straps or bungee cords to secure the ramp in their vehicle when it is in stowage position. Both are true for me. I keep my ramp stowed inside my Land Rover at all times when not actively being deployed and I use black flat rubber bungees to attached to hooks and "D" rings in the floor and on the side stowage containers inside the rear of my vehicle, where the ramp is stowed on its edge and lies flat against the sides of the built in storage bins in the rear of my Land Rover. Well, I discovered that after only a couple of weeks of using the ramp and having it stowed in my vehicle, the ramp warped slightly, and no longer meets equally on all four corners when it is deployed in its extended position. Bear in mind, that this warping happened not in the middle of Summer heat, when it MIGHT be expected, but during the last few weeks of Winter and first few weeks of Spring! In other words, my vehicle interior never got so warm that it should have warped the plastic material of the ramp! PetGear may want to start using a plastic which has more resistance to heat and warping. This has caused me to have to start the practice of placing my feet at the bottom of the ramp when my dog comes down it or goes up it so that it doesn't wobble and freak her out. The other issue I have is that the sandpaper-like non-skid material used on the ramp is not very effective and my dog can easily slip on it, besides marking it up with long white streaks from her claws starting the first time she used it. A more effective surface might be textured or "treaded" rubber, which should provide a more sure gripping surface and less likely to mark. For these two reasons, I deduct a star. Some advantages to this product are its light weight, ease of deployment and relative rigidity. Time will tell how well it holds up and how long it will last, but so far, I am quite pleased with its strength. Once my dog became used to using it, it has made her life easier with less impact on her joints, feet and bones from having to jump down to the ground or jump and scramble up into the vehicle. It has made my life easier because now, I don't have to strain my back lifting her rear into the vehicle or covering my clothing in a layer of dog hair when doing it.

66 inch ramp review with video - 4 stars.
The media could not be loaded. I have an 8 year old, 120 lb lab. I tried to research this product as best as I could before purchasing. However, I couldn't find a solid video showing this ramp being used. There are a few videos out there but they mainly used a slide show of pictures. So here are my thoughts on this ramp and hopefully it helps someone. First off, I am attaching it to a 2013 Ford Edge, Sport Edition. There is a strap with a ring to secure the ramp to your vehicle. I tightened it as much as possible but it was still too long. I found if I attached it to a side clasp I had a little more bumper room for the ramp to sit. That is why you see it on one side in the video. I do plan on fixing this issue with a shorter, more sturdy strap. The one that comes with the ramp, in my opinion, will not stand the test of time with my large dog. Moving on...It took some time getting Johnny, my dog, comfortable with using the ramp. You can see in the video there are some scratch marks on the ramps surface. That is from previous failed attempts at Johnny trying to figure out the thing. (The surface is rough like sand paper but Johnny didn't seem bothered by it.) With lots of positive reinforcement and some yummy dog treats Johnny got the hang of walking up and down the ramp in about 15 minutes. (Because of the slope my car was parked on, he felt confident jumping in the back of my car in the video. He did go up the ramp when it was parked at different angles but I didn't get that on video.) This is only the first day Johnny has used the ramp. I'm only giving it 4 stars because I am concerned about the longevity of this product and the strap that came on it was of poor quality. I like that it is light-weight and being a petite 30-something - it is easy for me to handle. I look forward to traveling a lot easier with my sweet boy. Thanks for taking the time to read this and watch the video. Good luck with your future purchase.

Travel Lite Bi-Fold
Bought the Travel Lite Bi-Fold for my dog (75lb) after she damaged her CCL and required surgery. It is a nice length for dog to walk into back of SUV without having to jump up. Dog doesn't have an issue walking on it, but took a couple brief training sessions for her to realize I need her to use the ramp instead of her trying to jump into car. The ramp is well built for the price (less than $70 CAD). Best value I could find. I don't love the texture of the ramp, since it's almost like a fine sandpaper, but my dog's paws have not been affected by it. I will likely glue to some carpeting onto it at some point- even with modifications, for the price, this can't be beat. Seems sturdy. Isn't super lightweight- see keep in mind the weight of the ramp if you have any back/strength issues. For most people I think this ramp would be an excellent buy. 1 star off for the ramp, simply due to the material dog walks on. Otherwise, am very pleased and would recommend!

Not... what I was hoping for.
I have a 70lb dog, and a ford explorer (SUV) The length of the ramp actually is too short for my vehicle - that's on me. But when my dog stands on this, it looks like it's bending to nearly break.. I think this would be great for a smaller car, and a smaller dog.

Terrible Product
This is a terrible product!! I had it secured using the hook attachment that is supposed to insure that the ramp does not fall off the vehicle. My dog was halfway up the ramp and the safety hook completely detached from ramp causing her to fall on her chest onto the bumper of the vehicle. Also the walking surface material doesn't allow the dog to get any grip, her claws slide back down the ramp when she is trying to climb it. I want my money back!!

Bien!
Pues si me gusto, pero a mis perros les costo trabajo entenderlo y usarlo porque el piso de la rampa es como tipo lija y eso lo sienten raro en sus patas Pero bien, buena compra
