Hole placement not adjustable.

I got this 3-hole punch to replace one that was so old the punching parts were dull. I chose this one because it is metal, not plastic. One of the reviews I read said the punchers were adjustable, but mine are not adjustable. You just get the standard 3-ring punch. But the punching elements are nice and sharp. The lever where you put your palm to make the punch is not terribly wide, so you need to get above it and push straight down to overcome the lack of leverage. I wouldn’t recommend trying to puch more than the recommended maximum of 10 sheets at a time. Overall, a welcome improvement to my aging office equipment.

It Works as Advertised

Not much to say. It does the job. I like that the holes are collectrd in a tray so they don't fall all over. The tray can be easily emptied.

Three hole punch that works

This punch is designed for ease of use. You simply insert one or more sheets of paper and push down, using the weight of your body if necessary, and presto, the sheets of paper slide out with three holes spaced to go on the clasps in our binder.

Great value

This was a great value for the price. I use it a lot because I am the treasurer for nonprofit. And I have lots of papers that I have to punch at one time.

For when serious hole punching is needed

The backstory is I printed a bunch of large manuals for older electronics gear and wanted to organize them into a binder. Retrospectively it probably would have been cheaper to just buy a ream or two of pre-punched paper and print on that, but I never promised that planning was my strong suite. So, armed with a new punch and 1500+ pages of paper I sat down to the task at hand. The punch is solid and heavy and all metal construction (spare the lid on the bottom which is plastic) and the lever provides a lot of leverage. The punches themselves are adjustable in location and there's a stop guide to align to the paper's edge with standard sizes on it (I only punched 8'5x11)…basically you're covered for anything smaller thanletter/A4 with a bit of quick set up. The lever has a locking clip on it for storage that hold the lever in the more compact down position. Punching is smooth and easy up to the rated capacity (~30 sheets or 21lb copier paper). There's a large storage area in the base for the paper holes. I plowed through all 1500 sheets in a little under 15 minutes. While I likely won't have much use for this it will come in handy again when called upon.

Great hole punch

Punches quite a few sheets of paper. Nice crisp holes. *UPDATE: works well EXCEPT the sliding rule for paper size moves WAY too easy. Just the slightest nudge and the holes are misaligned on the paper... SOOOO frustrating. Some of my printouts when putting into binder are off so the paper sticks out the top of the binder!!! Arrrrgh! So I taped the sliding ruler with duct tape to stop it from being moved so easily out of place. Not sure why it moves so easily but a design flaw if you ask me!

Great hole punch for the price

If you are looking for a medium duty hole punch that is well built at a great price, this is should definitely be one to consider. Many other name brand hole punches of similar capacity and build will easily run over twice the price. I've used this hole punch for documents averaging 15-20 pages and it works easily and flawlessly. Some other reviewers reported that their paper alignment kept moving, but so far I had not experienced this. I would definitely recommend this hole punch.

Amazing for the price

Honestly this thing is perfect except the metal measure piece does have a tendency to move, so u need to check it every time you use it. However, I used a $100 one and it did the same thing, so ????????. I mean, it really isn't that hard to check first. Takes literally seconds to do.

Not matches what is told

I l ike the prompt delivery. Good Packing. But could not satis fy my needs I just disliked it, while tried to return the amazon was insisting on replacement as thouh I do not want the product even the replacement. I tappears that the product purchased is returnable is not true. i am fully frustrated with this return policy !!!!!
