Makes fantastic holes

Bought this to punch bolt holes into gasket material for a car I am restoring. Cut through the thick-ish paper like material with ease, and made perfect holes. This is the perfect solution to having to use an exacto knife.

Limited Number Of Pages Possible & Unit Launches Holes Everywhere.

It is an OK punch for very small volume jobs. It only accommodates very few thin pages and definitely no more than 2 manila folder weight pages. You have to apply a good deal of pressure to make this work on much more than that. One quirky issue is that the punch launches the holes everywhere - I spent more time cleaning up the mess than actually doing the job. It is a cheap option and I doubt the cutter will withstand too many cuts. One great feature on this that I will use when shopping for another punch is the viewing window over the hole location - it is a really helpful when placing the punch right were you want it. This is good in a pinch but not for long term use. SECOND ACT Despite what I said about the larger hole punch I couldn't find ANY reasonably priced hole punches with a view window so I had to go back and order this punch in a smaller size. This one showers me with confetti too but what's a girl to do.

A well made product

I got this 3/8-inch punch to punch holes in round Avery labels to create my own stick-on Aerogarden labels. (No way am I going to iron on those replacement labels Aerogarden sells.) I wish now I had gotten the next size larger, but this will get the job done until I do order it. A neat thing about this punch is that it locks closed, and then you can stack different sized punches. It is, of course, designed for crafts, but it would also make a nice little punch for punching marketing bookmarks to carry a tassle or to hand on a hook at a display table.

Made durable and sharp.

I am fond of this EK brand. The punches are well made with sharp cutters. They punch through vinyl sticker material with ease where the normal “scissor” handle type can’t. I now own four sizes ranging from 3/16” to 1/2” with the 1/8” size on the wishlist. I use them to make fishing lure eyes from waterproof sticker material. I punch with the hole punch upside down to align and get the most out of the sticker material. They collapse and lock to a compact size for storage in tool kit.

Nice size, easy to store

I really like this little punch. I wish I would have found it before some others I purchased. I like the size. Easy to store. Works well. (I have only used it on thin paper.)

Need a smaller punch

The punch is too large and will not work for the purposes planned. As a paper crafter, I'm confident I'll be able to use it for other projects.

Similar to a regular hole punch

I bought this hole punch thinking I could punch out labels for Hershey Kisses and when I got it, it's practically the same as a regular hole punch that you can buy at a dollar store, but I paid a lot more for this punch. However, that was my mistake in size, and this EK punch is great quality, with a window in the back so you can see exactly where you are punching, and like most EK punches, it stores nicely because of the rectangular shape. I always recommend this brand of punches, I have about 10 and they are all great!

Punches well.

Can punch through more sheets than I expected and I like that you can store it compactly. Feels well made. Used for punching holes in calendars. It’s a tad large for my purpose - might have to buy the next size down too :)
