My dogs favorite toy

Like: my dog treats this toy like it’s her ‘baby’. When the sound is activated she whines and howls (Husky) and gently takes it to lay down with her chin resting on it. I can no longer find these in my local stores so I searched Amazon and found one. Dislike: the chirping sound is weak and I have to push it really hard to activate it. Dislike: the fact that I don’t get to choose the color, but not a dealbreaker. It’s still her favorite toy.

My Dog loved these She is not really a big toy player but the sound in these interested her. The only thing is that of the 3 toys, one did not make any sound at all. Not going to bother returning since she really likes them but kind of sad one did not make sound .

He loves it!

My boxer babe got an orange one for his birthday. He absolutely loved it. It does squeak like a traditional dog toy, but rather it sounds like a bird tweeting. There's a small square box in the belly of the toy. Also the neck is like a slight bungee so it gives a bit. It's easy to hold (by the skinny neck or the swinging legs) and my guy likes to fling it around. This is NOT a durable toy tho. My babe is not a toy destroyer but if yours is this is cute but nay may not last terribly long. It's not sewn tightly, something to note. I was lucky enough to find these at our local grocery store so he has an orange one and black. Then I found them here on Amazon so I ordered another one. It's often so hard to find toys your dog loves - so this is something I will buy again. Super cute!

Fun toy for dog, but supervision may be required

I purchased this as a replacement for the previous one my 18lb miniature schnauzer finally wore out. He absolutely loves this toy and carries it around always, but I find it's quality inconsistent. The first one we purchased arrived black, this second one turned out to be orange, You really don't get to pick the color, but the seller makes that clear in the description. I wish we would have gotten black, but oh well, it's for my dog, not me. I noticed that the stretching feature on this second one wasn't as pronounced as it was on the first. This only applies to the neck area...it does indeed stretch, but the first one seemed to be a bit stronger and stretched a little bit more. My schnauzer went right for the eyes and both were gone within a few days, but what surprised me was he was now able to get one of the legs off pretty easily this time around. Whereas the first seemed to last forever, this replacement lasted only about 1/3rd as long as the original did. Lastly, I wish there was a way to change out the batteries, or turn it off at times. The digital 'chipring' can be a bit loud at times, but I'm okay with that, but the batteries only last so long. Eventually, you'll hear the chips get long and drawn out, and then finally nothing. The batteries died...I can't find a way to eaily access and repalce....but then again, for the price point, what do you expect? Can't be overly picky here. In my experience, this replacement wasn't as durable as the original, exact, toy.

NO SOUNDS, NOT AS ADVERTISED

NOT WHAT IS ADVERTISED - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. This is what is advertised - "These charming birds can sing two songs." Instead, they both have regular squeakers just like all other dog toys. Even the tags say the toy contains batteries. However, it only contains normal squeakers. I am returning these as this is false advertisement and these sellers are taking advantage of people by claimning to sell one thing, charging for it, then giving the customer a cheaper version that is not what is advertised. They are lying and hoping people will not notice and are cheating people. I bought two of these toys thinking it would be the same singing/chirping birds that we already had, but instead there is no battery and no bird sounds. One of my dogs loved the bird sounds in her old toy, but the battery is almost dead. I gave her one of these toys and she ran off with it then started to squeak it. She stopped and inquisitivly looked at it, then back at me. I then tried the other toy, and it was the same thing - a squeaker, no battery and bird sounds. She walked away from this new toy and grabbed the old one and made it play the almsot dead battery version of the bird songs. Not only am I disappointed for spending my money on something that is not what was advertised, but even my dogs are disappointed in them. Please do not waste your time on this. Perhaps these sellers used to include batteries in these, but they are not anymore. This is a waste of money and no one should do business with a seller that is going to be so low as to lie about dog toys.

Cute dog toy

I love the chirping sound, quite adorable and so much more pleasant than to old squeaky toys. Sadly it does not last. Once my dog chews through the stuffing, the sound box and battery are son to follow. Still.. great while it lasts

you get what you pay for

my puppy doodle is an active chewer. She is no doubt attracted to this toy by the noise it makes but it needs alittle better stitching all over. It takes her maybe a day to get an arm or other body part off then it's all over. Nothing is sacred and the stuffing is out along with the noise maker. It's not a toy that you leave with your dog unattended because the innards could be a choking issue for your dog. I guess for the price I expected to get 3 or 4 days out of it but no such luck. To bad it keeps her engaged but just does'nt last

Our Poodle’s happy place…

Our standard poodle is now psyched every time I open an Amazon box - hoping it will have a ‘chirpy plush’ inside. We just received our third! Lol! This toy is not for aggressive chewers as it has a little sound box that makes an adorable life-like sounding chirp when squeezed …could be a choking hazard. for seven bucks, this toy lasts maybe a week because we also have a Rottweiler pup. But it is absolutely our “duck dog’s” very favorite thing ever. I’d recommend saving this toy for a time you can supervise your dog’s play…

too shrill

very annoying decides for it's self when it works/goes off, dog had NO interested in this what so ever, gave it a sniff then walked off and ignored since, got donated to local dog shelter hopefully one of those dogs had some fun very irritating noise

Cute but not reccomended

My dog loves this toy. He was fascinated by the chirping. He is a large dog and plushies don't often last long with him, which I expected, but within the hour my dog cracked the mechanism inside and ripped off a wing. There were batteries, springs and peices of plastic fallong out of it all over the place. I always supervise my dog with new toys, luckily, but these peices were so small and jagged they could be easily missed and cause a lot of harm to your dog if swallowed. Buyer be cautious.

BIG TIME RIP-OFF!

Nothing like the pictures or description! This is a piece of junk. I would have given 'NO' stars, but it doesn't work that way. When it arrived, it would sometimes chirp very faintly if you pressed on the button. Now it doesn't even chirp. The neck it just a long limp piece of fabric, is not springy like it's supposed to be. I bought one of these from a store years ago and it was perfect, my dog loved it. Not sure where this one comes from. Don't waste your money on this one! Very disappointed.

Destroyed in minutes - deserves less than a star

We gave one of these birds to our dogs (German Shepherd and Lab) and they happily grabbed it. We were actually in the same room as them and were turned away for mere moments and then suddenly there was an explosion of fluff everywhere like a pillow exploded. In the midst of the stuffing were two small feet and a headless bird torso. I swear I have never seen any toy demolished as quickly as this. It was so awful it was funny. If you are considering buying this toy, do not. Give your dog a pillow to rip apart and save yourself the $$$

Not for young pups

Noisemaker didn’t last two minutes. Contains small batteries that could be hazardous to pups if ingested. Requires constant supervision and is not durable at all.
