Whiskey-Infused Smoky Goodness in Every Bite!
I recently tried the Pit Boss Whiskey Barrel Blend Hardwood Pellets for my pellet smoker and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious flavor it added to my meats. The smoky goodness with a hint of whiskey was evident in every bite, making it a real treat for my taste buds. The pellets are made with high-quality hardwood and infused with real whiskey barrel flavor, making them perfect for those who want to add a unique twist to their barbeque. Plus, the 40 lb bag is a great value for the price and lasts a long time. However, I did experience some minor issues with the pellets not burning as evenly as I would have liked. This could have been due to my smoker's settings or the quality of the pellets themselves. But, overall, it didn't detract from the delicious flavor they added to my meat. In summary, if you want to take your barbeque to the next level with a touch of whiskey-infused smoky goodness, then the Pit Boss Whiskey Barrel Blend Hardwood Pellets are definitely worth a try. Just be prepared to have your taste buds thanking you!

These are excellent grilling pellets, I have a z grill and bbq a lot of chicken and beef these pellets have a great flavour and great to smoke with. Pit boss so far has been great to cook with and 40lbs bags last awhile

Works great for the Weber Smokefire
I tried these for my Weber Smokefire EX6. It has been hard for some time now to find Weber brand pellets. I've tried a few different brands, Lumberjack, Traeger, Kingsford, and Camp Chef. Those all worked to some degree, but all had problems with getting high temps for grilling instead of just smoking. These work well for all functions of the Smokefire, albeit it does go through more pellets at all temperature ranges than all other brands, including the Weber ones. The good news the cost of these offsets the volume used. I'm really happy so far.

Oak is the smoke!
The 40 lb bag was the seller for me(not the delivery lady). Gives me about 12 hours of smoking on my Pit Boss Pro verticle smoker before I have to empty the ash tray. I'm guessing when the weather warms up it should last even longer since it will not have to use as much pellets to maintain temperature.

A little goes a long way
This bag of pellets will last us forever, and we smoke meat every weekend. We have done ribs, pork butt, wings, mushrooms, queso, and some of those more than once, and we have barely touched the pellets. Love this product!!

Arrived with big hole in Bag
The media could not be loaded. When I opened the box pellets went ALL OVER threw away a lot .dogs thought it was dog food and got excited lol . There was a big hole in the bag. But the product is very nice.

Watch the pricing!
No problems with Pit Boss pellets - burn fine...reasonable amount of ash etc.. but watch the pricing! I ordered 2 bags (40lbs each) just 2 days ago... they were 30.00 per bag (prime) and today they are $47.98 per bag. on 2 bags that would be an extra $36 plus tax if I just hit the reorder button without looking!

Fantastic flavour
I purchased these because where I live there aren't a lot of places to buy reliable food grade hard wood pellets for our pellet smoker. They taste amazing. I couldn't believe the difference between these and the traeger pellets I've been using. I won't be going back. Also, they burn very cleanly with very little ash. Shipping on Amazon was included so these are a no brainer. What a great buy.

smokey smoky tasty
These work great in a smoker tin, and also the pellet tubes. I do not have a pellet grill but I love to smoke meats on my gas BBQ. These produce a GOOD amount of smoke and last about as long as you could expect them to. I was quite happy with how long they lasted, a 6" pellet tube smoked well for about 100 minutes. The flavour is very nice as well. As good as or even better than any apple wood chips I have used in the past. (they DO come in a bag lol) For the most part almost no "sawdust" in my bag, as there were a few small holes in the bag and the mess would be obvious. Some will get broke up moving this 40lb bag around but they were mostly intact.

Damaged bag
Got 2 bags of these pellets, one bag had a hole patched with tape. There were less pellets in the bag with the hole. Too inconvenient to return such a large heavy item to the post office especially since the box it comes in is all but destroyed by the time it gets to your house. Probably just won't buy this over Amazon again since you can't see the bag until it's on your porch

Lost Product but received FULL REFUND
I had bought the product before so I knew it was decent. Unfortunately it was lost en route to me (this stuff does happen occasionally). I contacted the company and the same day they issued me a full refund. Highly recommend this company.
