This is exactly what I wanted.

I purchased this squat/bench rack because I had one when I was younger and loved it. The new one is exactly like I remember. For clarification I purchased the weider rack by itself, my rack does not include the bench seen in my photos. The rack is functional and supports decent amount of weight (up to 310 lbs); That’s plenty for the average home gym user. The rack came with two adjustable hooks for spotting the he weight. It has two small poles to hang free weights. The rack works with any bench; I’m currently using the flat bench in my photos, but it was not purchased with the rack. The rack itself is really solid and fairly well made. My only complaint about the structure is that my rack looks like one of the tubes is bent (see photo). I was able to assemble the rack just fine and it feels sturdy, but cosmetically it looks like someone messed it up a little bit because the frame doesn’t align well. This rack was easy to set up. I did it by myself with in 30 minutes. A second person would have made setup slightly easier, but not necessary. The rack I purchased came with a Allen wrench to tighten the Olympic weight adapter for the free weight stand but you will need at least two adjustable wrenches that will accommodate a 17mm nut and bolt. You might need more tools if you purchased the rack with an attached bench. Overall I’m happy with the rack and I’m pretty sure I won’t have to buy another rack ever again.

Excellent, well made... Sad only good Rack I could find.

Sad I have to go to a company that appears to be out of business now for these types of fitness equipment, to find something that's actually QUALITY BUILT. I spent hours trying to find a good strong Rack of this type of design, and they ALL on Amazon are cheap China made JUNK. This is the ONLY one that wasn't.... I couldn't even find it in Amazon's SEARCH, had to go outside of Amazon and THEN I found a link to this product. I had the same problem with finding a Quality Weight Bench, had to go to a big Western made product company to get actual quality, while NONE of bench's at Amazon were any good. The difference between this and the weight bench is I couldn't find any Western company making a RACK of this type of design. Weider was the ONLY ONE I could find. I was lucky to even get this, because Weider is apparently out of business, not making Strength equipment anymore. It looks like whomever owns the company now is getting rid of whatever leftovers they still have. Sad day... Amazon needs to get some "quality control" with products they allow to be sold on the site. There are MANY things I've needed to buy and STILL need to buy, and nothing is made well anymore and it's been an absolute NIGHTMARE to find anything of quality of the things I've needed to buy over the last few years because most things come from China now, and they just don't make most things well. Like, I STILL can't get a handheld Wet Carpet Cleaner because they are ALL so poorly made now, in contrast to one I had years ago, which only don't have cause of losing family and having to sell everything off. Anyway... Not happy with Amazon. Especially when I just bought several products, designated a specific delivery day, and they are ALL being delivered DIFFERENT DAYS, over an ENTIRE WEEK. :(

Nice rack !!

For the cost of this rack it is absolutely worth it. If was assembled rather easily and it is well built. I dont have any shakes or weird slips like others say. Everything was a tight fit and fit well. I use the leg set up only for the preacher curl capability as any leg exercise is near impossible with the geometry of the set up. Laying down to use the leg set up just puts you in an unsafe awkward position. 4 stars because of no leg lifts.

Good basic bench but needs additional parts and work.....

Updated: 08-27-2022 For the price, this is a good bench for the basic home gym. Color is great; easy to assemble with a good illustrated instructions manual. HOWEVER, after assembly this bench was just too wobbly for me to use. (Too see what I'm talking about, someone posted a video showing the wobble; see the February 28, 2021 review with video). There was a feeling of unease as I exercised. The problem IS there's too much play or gaps between the bench frame (member #3) and the crossbar (member #2). The gaps are at the flange bolted connection between the two members. NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU TIGHTEN THE BOLTS, the bench will always wobble due to the existing gaps! So DON'T OVERTIGHTEN THE BOLTS YET or you will bend the frames and that's not good. *I was about to return it. BUT, other equipment made by other vendors have the same neg-reviews expressing flaws or something else. In addition, I would have to pay more. (During THESE TIMES, NO thanks!) After further research and price comparisons I came to the conclusion that 'I REALLY LIKE THIS BENCH'. One, for the paid PRICE and two, it suits my needs. NOT too bulky where it takes a lot of space. So, I decided to keep it. I solved the wobble issue by carefully hammering-in toilet plastic shims into gaps at both sides of the bolted flange connection (See photo). BOTH Sides! These wedge shims are made by EVERBILT and you can get them at your local Home Depot. I like these shims because I could install them then snap off the excess remainder. Some filing and cutting is necessary to make them clean and flush. After installing the shims I tighten the bolts a little more making the bench was a lot more sturdy and tight. That should will help me workout with confidence and no worries. I'll see how this works for now but later, I intend to install metal shims and that ought to do it for good. My barbell has an abrasive surface for gripping. Every time I set the bar to rest the surface from the barbell scraps up paint off the top of the weight rest (member #15). To solve this issue I installed EVERBILT 2-inch self adhesive anti-skid pads at the top of the weights rest (See photo). These rubber pads will eventual wear out but luckily EVERBILT sells them in a pack of 8 and I can always purchase them at my local Home Depot as well. I like the adjustable levels for the barbell rest. However these have a tendency to come off during bench exercises. This can be a safety issue! SO VERY IMPORTANT; make SURE to lock each weight rest (member#15) by attaching 1-inch spring clamps at the rear of each rest (See Photo). You will need two, one for each barbell rest and these are NOT included with this bench. I purchased the clamps here on Amazon (see photo). In Summary: I really like this bench so I made it work. There are issues with it. Again, suits my needs (price and fitness). BUT the bench needs some extra work. To further improve this bench, refer to the March 19th, 2022 review with heading "Decent for the price but a bit clunky". I intend to follow this person's solutions to fix the wobble at the leg extensions and hamstring curls. Hope this helps y-all out.

This is for beginners!!

Good for the price if your just starting and using lighter weight easy to assemble only promblem I have is when you put on 100+Lbs it seems to be a little sketchy and it shakes a little/wobbles it’s not to bad if your just starting out and want to use lower weights and more reps and sets

Good little bench, great price.

Very easy to assemble, had it all put together in about 20 minutes, does not come with tools to assemble though, so make sure you have a basic wrench or socket set. Seems sturdy enough.

Great bench at great price!

Really like this product. Very solid and stable. However, I am just 5'4" female, 125 lbs. A taller or heavier person might find the bench not long enough? It arrived quickly and went together quite easily and quickly. Instructions say 2 people required for assembly. But that's not true at all. I was however glad to have my socket set with ratchet handle to assemble the lock nuts for the base and the hex screws for the bench. Instructions said all you need is an adjustable wrench, but this would have been a real pain in the arse to assemble with that tool. It's a great bench for the price. Perfect for my home gym in living room. I also bought the OneTwoFit Doorway Pull Up Bar no Screws at same time. Shown in this picture in the doorway . Requires no mounting hardware, pressure fit, easy to install.

If it could motivate me to actually work out, I would love it even more lol. But when I do, it's perfect for my in home gym workouts. Very sturdy and well made.

Not Bad for the money

It's not a high end bench but does the job. Easily assembled and seems to be strong. My only complaint is it's a little short, I'm only 6' and my head rest slightly pas the end. Other than that it's a great budget friendly bench.

Sturdy and great bang for buck.

Good bench, easy to assemble, requires only 2 wrenches and a Philip's screw driver for tools. Great positions selection really happy for the under $100 price point at the time of purchase.
