Great Product!

I have nothing to compare to, other than the wooden pestle I have been using (smooth end) and other OXO products that I own.With this muddler, you can really crush your lime with substantial force to release the juices from the lime and the oils from its skin. The handle allows you to use significant force while remaining comfortable to use and the nylon end protects your glass from damage. I would recommend this as a replacement for any wooden muddler. I purchased this product several months ago and use it mainly for fresh ginger root. Prior to purchasing I tried a number of different options to get the fresh ginger root flavor and juice out into my dishes. I like a more intense ginger flavor. Nothing worked until I got the OXO muddler. It does a fantastic job, is easy to handle and cleaning is a simple rinse under water. My only regret is that I didn't purchase a metal cup to muddle in. I've been using a small glass tumbler with work fine, I'm just clumsy at times and afraid I might break my tumbler. I highly recommend this product.

Works pretty well

So far I've used this to help me perfect my mojitos. It works pretty well on the mint and I can muddle in the glass without worrying that I'll leave scratches in it.

I needed a muddler

I wanted to make mojitos at home. Bought mint, lime, and white rum, but the recipe said to muddle those ingredients. So I went looking for a muddler and saw that OXO makes one. Bought it and as I expected (because it was an OXO) it was simple and easy to handle. The mojitos were a success.

Best muddler I’ve got at this price

Works well & is super comfortable to hold while muddling. It’s got a nice silicone grip to it too so it’s super easy to hold & the bottom is a sturdy plastic so it feels like it won’t scratch my nice glasses.

Good muddler

I bought this muddled and bar stir stick so I could make mojitos.I like that this muddler has a rubber handle and a rubber bottom.It does a nice job squishing the the limes and bruising the mint.It is easy to clean and came out of my dishwasher also clean.

Good product a bit overpriced

Good quality, heavy and sturdy. I would say a bit too expensive for such a simple thing but that's the case with all OXO products. Overall satisfied with the purchase.
