So glad I purchased this! It gets so much more juice out of my limes! It works great for muddling too! And on top of it, it is very eye appealing on my bar cart!

Form + Function

I didn't realize when I ordered this product that it was a 2 in 1 tool. I just wanted a muddler for making Old Fashions. Rabbit is known for good quality barware, and this is no exception. It is an attractive design that will look nice on your bar. The beech wood is a light golden color and the top, including the reamer, is black polypropylene. The wooden muddler end gently smashes fruit and herbs without pulverizing them. The handle, which hides the reamer, has a nice indentation which makes it very comfortable to hold. Having that area to grip will give you good control when muddling your ingredients. Unscrew the top and the reamer is revealed. It is thinner in diameter than some reamers, but it will work fine for lemons and limes. I think it would be a little on the small size for an orange. The muddler and reamer are easy to clean. The instructions suggest oiling the wood with vegetable oil on occasion. I haven't used this product long enough to know how often this is required. I'm wondering if the wood won't develop a nice patina after awhile. Thank you to Amazon Vine for the opportunity to review this product.

Great for making cocktail at home

This is a good quality muddler for making cocktail etc. The wooden end means that it is safe to use with glass wear etc. I use a heavy metal one if I am making a large batch of something in a thick bowl, but for breaking up small mint leaves or other items inside a drinking glass, this wooden version is much better. The plastic on the reamer side is of average quality. There are some unfinished edges on the plastic parts that sticks out just a little on the surface. I filed it down with a small tool. Overall it is a nice addition to a home bar setup.

2 in 1!

This comes in a giftable box. It's light weight. It's easy to use and easy to clean. The top twists off to use the citrus reamer, so there's no sharp points sticking out. If you love making drinks, then this one is for you. We love using the muddler side to make mojitos!

I’m keeping this next to my bed because great for killing vampires. Other than that it’s a great citrus reamer and I love reaming Citrus when I’m done killing ghouls. Crush some garlic while you’re at it. I don’t think anything gets the lemon ???? juice out of the lemon quite like a tool like this. Works well.
