Great Priced Silicon Brush

Ergonomically designed handle. Fits perfectly in my hand and is just the correct length. For basting or applying oil to food it hold the correct amount and the oil flows smoothly. Great buy for the money.

Cool Brush

I cannot say I love this thing, but I do like it. Why, because it will not melt until it get around 600 degrees. Why did I buy it?? I needed a brush that I could use to spread the seasoning oil in my cast iron skillets! I like to use them, wash them, then reheat them, and re-oil them, at a fairly high temp. I melted one brush doing this, and was resorting to using paper towels, which I still do, a lot, but I wanted a brush that could stand the heat, to spread the oil!! I check my skillets with an IR thermometer, at at temps over 500 degrees, this thing did not melt!! So, it is still in the kitchen, laying on top of my Mortor and Pestle. I also like the fact that it is bent up where the handle meets the brush, which, when laying on my stove top, does not touch the stove top!! Very nice little extra attention to detail that really works!! Having said all that, I have not used it as a basting device, so I have no idea how that part would be, but I am guessing it would be good..

Excellent Brush, will update over time

So far this product proved excellent. Brushes easily. Used it for baking and light basting of bbq sauce on ribs. It washes fairly easily. The feel is comfortable and the idea of a tilted brush is brilliant to keep it from touching counters or unwanted surfaces.

Great coverage with just one stroke

Wasn't really sure that it would be that much better than the silicon pastry brush that I had been using. However the coverage is amazing and it really does hold sauce/juices in its bristles. The angled head is brilliant at spreading it down the side of meat. Makes basting/seasoning meats and fish effortless and speedy. Oxo Good Groups excels again.

Great on the BBQ

I use this to oil the BBQ grills. While it cleans easily for the most part, the holes in the larger silicone strips trap burned matter and make cleaning a bit more challenging. Other than that, I like the design and the quality.

Perfect basting brush.

Perfect larger sized basting brush, works really well. You do not get the smaller pastry brush as well with this purchase, I bought it separately.

Best silicon pastry brush out there

Great for a silicon brush. There's a second flat layer that holds liquid well. Still no match for the traditional hair style brushes but it is more durable and will probably last much longer. Easier to clean too.
