Wasn't the right length for mine. Not sure why.

This was about 6 inches too long for my snowblower. Not sure what happened. I double checked model numbers and everything. Had to tie it in knots to get it to work.

No installation instructions

No installation instructions came with it. The MTD snow blower's parts manual showed the cable, but not how it is routed. The owners manual gave minimal auger cable adjustment instructions. I figured, "hey, it's just a cable". However, getting it installed on the handle portion was much more difficult than I expected - I guessed wrong at what things needed to be disassembled. Once I got it installed in the handle, it was relatively easy to "thread" the cable back to the auger belt's idler pulley arm. But now the auger handle won't stay down with the clutch cable lever is held down - it used to. I'll have to figure out how to fix that. But, the cable is installed and, hey - it's only a cable.

Faulty circuitry for a 2004 Sienna

I purchased this product to replace the original factory part which had a broken switch for the front right passenger window. While the module is functional, it seems to be wired incorrectly. Other than the driver's side window, when pushing or pulling the switches, it's like playing the lottery. The switch you push does not always control the window you expect in either the up or down direction. Sometimes it does. Other times it doesn't. Given that it's the middle of winter, I'm fine with fiddling around, as I am able to ultimately get the windows where I want them to be. If this weren't the case, I would probably return the product for replacement.

The right part and fast delivery

This product was exactly what I was looking for for my snow blower. I was a little worried at first because I've ordered parts from other sellers that were incorrect for the product I ordered them for. I was very relieved when I received the part (2 days before the estimated arrival) and fit like it's supposed to.

Perfect!

It was the exact part, very happy. I found, the issue with my snow blower; one of the pulley wheels that guided the auger cable was a bit bent and stuck, so it was not moving freely along with the cable. The cable was simply rubbing when pulled back and forth which I believe caused wear and tear over time and eventually broke the old cable in half. Always Have A Spare

What can you say about a clutch cable except that it is awesome. And always, I mean always, have a spare in your shop. Ain't no fun to have a broke down snow thrower when there is 2 feet of snow.

Worked for me. Crossover part # I found was correct, luckily.

Got the correct auger control cable I was expecting after finding a cross reference somewhere for my old Craftsman tracked 8-26. So far so good. The first one lasted 20yrs, hope this one does too. Was lucky to find the cross over seeing that Craftsman/Sears don't exist in Canada anymore. Tho it looks like Lowe's took over their tool line.
