I bought this because I was building wheels and every time one of the wheels got jostled or fell over, the hub would come apart and spew parts all over the floor. this thing worked great for that. I actually (mostly because I was not paying attention) used it for a few weeks, because I finished the wheel and I put it on my bike without swapping the skewer. I did not notice until just now when I went looking for it. One star deducted because it really does feel very cheap, but... man, it's five bucks shipped, what do you want? I kinda feel like it might deserve 5 stars in that context.

Exactly what I needed
Needed a Skewer so bad and found this one, got it, then apply it to my bike and its fantastic, I have also ran the bike through some obstacles out in the streets to see if it would hold up and it did so I feel very good that it does it job of staying lock in.

I'm using this on my vehicle's bike rack. So far it does the job. If it holds up to the elements over time, it's a five star product.

Works well on my Trek 3 series mountain bike.
Stripped my original skewer on the Trek 3 series mountain bike. This works just as good if not better than the original one, no way the wheel is coming off. The design is simple and just like a standard skewer so if it’s coming off, you’re probably not doing something right. I also have no issues with the aluminum push handle bending when tightening. Would buy again!

Came with a missing part.
Would have given top marks, however product came without one of the springs. It's important to have both as that's what centers the Hub/QuickRelease on the frame. Without both springs this QR is almost useless. Not happy with the Quality Control.

Ok for emergency
It was longer than my original but the plastic nut has a through hole so you can just thread it on. The plastic nut seems like a potential weak point.

Very basic
These are very cheap and basic skewers. The front one seems to not want to stay completely shut, but it hasn't come fully open yet. It just pops back out a few millimeters after it's been closed.
