Easy assembly.

This feeder arrived on time and was easy to assemble. I haven’t put it in the woods yet though and I’ll update this review when I do.

Accessories you will need

This feeder does not come with a Battery. Don’t cut corners and buy a cheap battery. Buy the Moultrie battery, it provides the correct mAh to dispense the feed. Other reviewers complaining that the feeder will not disperse the feed when filled completely full surely would had better results with s stronger battery. Feeder also does not come with Feet for legs. You will need these feet to prevent feeder legs from sinking into the ground. Thid is my second Moultrie feeder, and it have served me well. Based upon my experience, there are additional accessories the I needed to add. Moultrie Solar powered battery charging panel. It will not keep the battery charged, but it will certainly make it last longer. Moultrie battery charger. For when the battery runs down, you can charge it up fully inside your home. Moultrie Varmint Guard. The critters, specifically Raccoons, are relentless. They will chew through the discharge chute and anything else plastic they can find to get to the feed. This will keep them out.

Great bird feeder for snowbirds !

We vacationed in FL from New England for a full month in our new RV this year, but felt awful about leaving our feathered friends without food in the winter. We bought this feeder just before we left, and couldn't be happier. We filled it with 50+ lbs of sunflower hearts, anchored the feet with cinder blocks and rebar to withstand the wind and set the timer for 2x per day. Upon our return the feeder was just about empty, but clearly did its job. We've refilled and adjusted the timer for spring feeding, but LOVE it ! The batteries we put in in January are still working in April, despite the cold. The directional feeding is great, since we have hawks in the area and prefer to keep the seed under the tree canopy. The sprayer doesn't spray far, but the birds and squirrels could care less. I highly recommend for this purpose. Would def buy again.

Great feeder for the money

Bought this to put floating fish food in. The top lid sealed tight. No moisture issue. No clogging issues. Very simple assembly. Feeder head unit was very easy to set. Allows for multiple feedings and you can set the seconds it goes off for each feed time. You can also set the rate of spin for spinning plate. Great product!

For fish only

This has proven to be a great tool for the health of the fish in our very large farm pond. We had to move the location because it was easy pickins for bear. The bear with some effort can knock it over and get into the fish food. So we decided that we would never be able to use it for deer corn. We have it out on a small dock in the lake and twice a day the water boils with fish.

Doesn't sling fish food like you've seen a Moultrie sling corn.
