Great Feeder

Great Feeder.. 2 things I don’t like squirrels will chew the crap outta this feeder and the bottom of the feeder is plastic and don’t match up that great . Kinda cheap made and a little over priced .

Deer can get in but pigs can't

I bought this to replace one from another manufacturer. I get tired of feeding the wild hogs instead of the deer and this feeder from Moultrie is just right. Even small deer can access the corn but pigs and raccoons cannot. Gravity feeders use a lot more corn than the timer feeders, but it sure keeps the animals coming back. Perfect height and the design keeps the food dry. Great feeder.

A pain to put together

Great product.

Bought this to use as a chicken feeder. Left bottom leg portion off and it’s the perfect height. Much less food waste. Great when we go away for a few days. Feeds 75 chickens for 4-5 days when filled with layer pellets. And if all the chicken get gone I have a deer feeder.

Slinkies keep the squirrels off

The media could not be loaded. Slinkies are the best on keeping the squirrels off the feeder I just use the wire ones from Walmart and zip tie them on the poles and it seems to work!!!

Bear vs Feeder - bear won

I like the feeder because it was easy for me to assemble and put up, what I found is that I need to add leg extensions as the raccoons are able to stand up and get corn out of gravity feed and also need a way to secure it down as you see in the photo I have bears to contend with. So I lost the band that secures the gravity feeder in place. I just contacted Moultrie hopefully they send me one.

Simple, and it works

Works well and is simple. I did have a little moisture get in it after a fairly large rain. I think it needs to be anchored. (I did mine) deer or wind would knock it over if near empty. Timer spreader might make game appear more regular.

Just for fun

We are not hunters but I love having the deer hang out in our wooded yard, this is perfect because it is gravity fed so no batteries to replace. Sturdy so it won’t blow over, keeps corn dry and easy access to refill.

Great for deer

I read many reviews on here where people are saying it’s not very good and it breaks or the deer can chew the plastic off. I had a problem with a squirrel actually on top of it chewing one of the feeder outlets and it’s all my cameras too. The deer have no problem eating out of it and I have put 60 bags of deer feeding already through it and never a problem. To stop the squirrel from climbing on it I put axle grease on the metal posts and that prevented them from climbing up at.
