Did not give me a left helical on my vanes
The media could not be loaded. I received the left clamp which was marked left. I took a picture next to the straight clamp to give an idea of the difference in the two. I have several different arrows to fletch and I started off with my victory TKO that is the .245 shafts. Next I will do my 5mm Eason axis shafts to see the difference but with my victory shafts I moved my clamp to where it’s marked 2 degrees. I put the AAE vanes on my shaft and immediately noticed there is no helical. In my opinion this left clamp makes no difference on how the vanes are put on the shafts all you get is the 2 degree offset which is hardly noticeable by the naked eye. But. After playing around a bit I did notice that if you take your bracket on the base and loosen the knobs you can move it so that it maxes out. It’s not marked in that position but by guessing I would say that it puts it at around a 3 degree left helical. Yes the clamp makes a huge difference when set at that position. Before, when I done that the back of the vane wouldn’t touch the shaft so when I pulled them out I had to use my finger to get it to stick. With this left clamp you get full contact with your vane so it’s glued correctly to the shaft. Just remember that if you use new strings or get a new bow that you need to mark and shoot a bare shaft arrow that way you know which way your arrow spins coming out of the bow. My strings are twisted right which cause the arrow to spin left. This is common with almost all bows and strings. You still have to check though because some do spin to the right. I’ve yet to see one. In other words most likely your arrow will be spinning left but you but check. This clamp is made really well and the magnet is awesome. This fletching jig and clamp is one of the better ones offered at a budget cost. If your really serious about archery you should look into a tower jig or the bitzenburger jig which is one of the best. They just cost a lot more. Sorry for the book but I like to try and help others that may not have a lot of knowledge and is still learning. As far as a budget jig goes I would highly recommend this one.

Shallow
Could use more of a twist, kinda flatish... but works.

Great clamp
I bought this because I had a right wing fetching jig and accidentally bought a large order of left wing fletchings. This works just as well as the clamp that originally came with my jig.

Works Like a Champ!
Having read about fletching, my husband got this unit and left clamp plus appropriate glue and completed his first arrow in a short time and was very pleased with the results! Settings were best achieved by using an intact arrow and its feather angle as a way to figure out just where the replacement needed to lay.

Meh
Good news and bad news here. I bought this single clamp to fit another "unnamed" jig that did not come with the left helical clamp. I contacted customer service and the particular (Chinese) company did not even manufacture or sell a left helical clamp, which u thought was strange. That lead me to searching for something that would still fit the jig as a left clamp, this is exactly that clamp. Good news - this clamp fits and works with the jig I bought. Bad news - the helical that this clamp provides is very miniscule. I don't know how nor have the meands to measure what the actual helical level is, but it's not that great. After trying this, I decided to get the Arizona ez Fletch left helical jig. The comparison is night and day. The ez fletch provides a much more visible and substantial helical that there is no comparison. Overall, if you need a left helical jig to replace, this could be the one, but I wouldn't recommend this if you have the choice. If money is that tight, save it and buy the ez fletch, you won't be disappointed with that jig.

Not usable when arrived
Arrived with magnetic strip off the clamp. I removed the old glue and was able to glue it back in place.
