Does Not Include Plastic Center Screw Cover

This is a new knob with screw and washer. It does not include the plastic emblem center-piece to cover the screw nor the plastic or metal notched sleeve that slips over the plumbing fixture before putting the knob on, so hopefully you have not already thrown those parts away yet. I had to fish them out of the trash and re-use them. That also required caulk to make the emblem stick and I only had black epoxy on hand. It may not be pretty, but it worked. Other than no cover for the screw and no sleeve, it was great.

Almost perfect

Bought this to replace my old moen handle that cracked. Easy to install, but this new handle is larger slightly than my current one, not that you can really tell and the center piece does not wedge in there tight. I had to macgyver it a bit to get it to sit tightly. So keep that in mind. After I did all that I saw that they sell the handle and the center piece in one package but maybe I'll buy that one next time.

The shower nob handle does not fit tightly to my wall unit and caused small leak of water.

Original cap does not fit on top of knob

Fits stem with supplied screw ok; however, the top of the knob opening is slightly larger. If using an original Moen cap it will NOT snap in but sits loosely in the knob opening. Carefully using silicon sealant around the cap edge solved the problem.

Better, but same bad design.

I've gotten to the point of keeping these Moen knobs around so I can still take showers when one inevitably breaks. At nearly $14 a shot, however, it was starting to add up! As you've probably read elsewhere, these knobs are made of plastic and have no reinforcement where the pressure is applied on the valve when you turn. I have found that replacing the actual valve helps make the knobs turn easier, but you will have to decide if it's worth the trouble to do that(make sure you get the actual metal Moen valve replacement tool-see my review here-trust me!). The only thing that makes this knob better than the $14 one is it's half the cost. Same bad design, but if you remember to keep the insert from your old, broken one you can just pop it in! Again, no insert is included so the picture is showing everything you get. 2 stars for being cheaper, but nothing else. Jae

Doesn’t really show the back of the knob but because of the washer I thought it might fit and it did the washer is the same as the back of the knob
