Worked like it should.
Bought this to compare to my McKinley internal meter. Seems to be pretty close to what my radio was showing. The results are as follows. PD 1.0 ch 1 1.2 ch 20 1.3 ch 40 MC 1.0 ch1 1.2 ch20 1.6 ch40

I'll be there 95th person to mention THERES NO JUMPER CABLE. There are several scratches on the glass and body of this thing. Made in China of course. Wish me luck on function once my jumper cable arrives.

Some manufacturing quality issues.
Mine arrived with the needle/gauged pushed completely into the case. These aren't very complicated, so it was easy to pop the case apart and reaffix the small arm that keeps the gauge pushed into place on the front face. -This little arm is attached by the potentiometer: it is sandwiched it between the front face and the potentiometer lug/post. Either these are beat up in transit, or the assembly line workers aren't torqueing that potentiometer nut enough, causing the arm to pop out of place, or the arm is bent out of spec which makes it hard to assemble easily. However excellent value for the money. seems relatively accurate and a great way to test both SWR and basic output power on 27 MHz.

Simple, easy to use, works well, built well
I normally don't write or appreciate super short reviews, but this one doesn't need anything substantial. I have never used one of these in my life before buying this one to tune my CB. Was able to figure out how to work it quite easily with the aid of the internet. This thing is dead simple, and is built like a brick. Works great. For anyone who doesn't really do anything particularly crazy (ie: modding for more output) with their CB radio, I don't think you should buy anything else. Price is great, and it works perfectly.

Does what it suppose to do
This seems like a good meter. I am replacing my 30 year old Realistic meter with this one. The meter worked great on SSB mode. SWR worked fine but the SWR on my radio isn't reading the same value as the meter. I heard the President Mckinley SWR function is accurate but now I'm not sure. The radio SWR says 1:1. The meter says 1.4:1.

Caution - Unreliable !
The power switch works or not -- is the mystery. The SWR switch seems labelled upside down -- this was also the experience of AMAZON.COM buyers, but in more than a year, nothing has been done to rectify the faults ! You would need another SWR meter to test this before trusting the readings ! On the whole -- very unreliable.

A must have for checking your SWR
I've recently installed a CB radio in both of my cars and needed a SWR meter to make sure the match was good. This meter is inexpensive and does the measurement easy. As a bonus it also displays the power output of you radio. Small size and a easy to read meter.
