Could Be a Very Good Product For Only a Few Pennies More

"They work" is the best I can say. This could be a very good product for a only a few pennies more in production costs. The hand grips are thinner and have less padding than the original, and if you put most of your weight on your wrists instead of the armpits like I do, the padding counts for a lot. So not very comfortable there. I can feel and hear 'scrunching' from both the feet tips. It sounds and feels like the rubber is moving or at least compressing more than it should - something the original feet did not do. The replacements I bought from Walgreens don't do this and the replacements I bought from another manufacturer on Amazon, Guardian, do not do this. The top padding is ... there. Not much to say - certainly not comfortable. Now that I think about it, three stars is gracious. Probably should be less. It's really a shame - for just a few cents more in manufacturing, they could have added padding to the hand grips and shoulder pads and made the foot tips just a little bit better. This could have been a 5-star product for probably twenty cents more in manufacturing.

Good Value but Somewhat Lacking in Comfort

My old pads were falling apart and needed replacement. These fit perfectly and were easily installed. However, I immediately discerned the replacements have much less padding than the old ones. The old pads, even in their degraded state, were much more comfortable, especially the hand grips. Nonetheless, I would consider these to be a good value at the price point I paid. They fit well, look good, and don't smell, so I don't regret the purchase. However, they lose a star because they aren't as comfortable as I had hoped they would be. If I have to use them a lot, I will either add some padding to the hand grips or wear bike gloves. I just received yesterday, so I can't comment on their durability.

Great alternative to purchasing new crutches

I recently had foot surgery and wanted to reuse some old crutches instead of purchasing a new pair. I saw these replacement parts and felt this would be a great alternative to buying new crutches. I received the shipment on time and the packaging was in good condition. Switching out the old tips, underarm pads and hand grips for the new ones was very simple. The replacement parts fit great for the Medline crutches and the process of updating took just a few minutes. Took crutches used back in 1999 and made them like new. For under $10, I would definitely recommend these to anyone who needs to update old crutches.

I was a little nervous ordering these based on the existing mixed reviews, but I'm happy I did. My old crutches were left sitting for years in the attic and the original pads were dried out and crumbling off. These new pads are not the same quality as the original pads that came with my Medline crutches (not at thick), but were easy to install and seem to serve their purpose on the crutch without any issues. Buying this accessory kit was a much cheaper solution than completely replacing them.

Makes old crutches like new again!

I was recently in need of crutches and had a pair stashed out in my barn. They had been there for the better part of 20 years and the rubber bits were literally crumbling off in tiny pieces due to age. This replacement set did the trick. Easy to put on, and my crutches were in "like new" condition once again. If only I could say the same for my ankle! I will note: the tips provided in this replacement set are not anti-slip. In retrospect, I probably would have gotten non-slip tips. This is not a knock against quality, just an observation. They were exactly as advertised and I was very pleased by how all three parts felt and performed.

Well worth it and affordable too

Love these took an old pair of crutches that had pads that where disintegrating on them but the crutches themselves where still fine and bought theses as a replacement. Everything fit well and now this old gross set is brand new and useable for many more years to come!!

Plus monderme que l'ancien caoutchouc beige sec, craqué et puant

Un ami m'a prêté des béquilles qui présentaient les anciennes pièces. Après m'être déplacé toute la journée, mais mais puaient le vieux caoutchouc jusqu'au lendemain. Plus beau et plus confortable maintenant.
