Tighten the straps correctly
This was the first time using this so my husband had to learn about a few things. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because the excess from tightening the straps would come loose and hit the car. The bags itself is spectacular it holds a lot!! We got 2 duffle bags one small suitcase, 2 box fans, 3 reusable shopping bags packed with stuff and still had a little room in there it held up through the weather too great buy!!

Avoidable design problem
The bag is really secure and if you tie the straps in knots it will get rid of a lot of noise issues, except for one. First time out, some of the velcro holding the zipper flaps down came off as the glue melted in the summer heat. On the way back we had to go 63 in a 75 to reduce the constant tapping caused by the flaps well, flapping in the wind, angering fellow drivers. Will use duct tape next time.

Daddy, are we there yet?...(((3 minutes later)))...Daddy, are we there yet?
...so, on a recent mini vacation with my family of 4, we were able to lug on our little journey more of "their" stuff with this rooftop cargo bag than what would normally just fit in the trunk, or worse, would sit with them on their laps since our family Infiniti G35x is limited on 'stuff' space. All the complaining I used to hear as we're half way to our destination: "his stuff is on my side Daddy" or "stop, that's your side." I emphasize "their" because I don't understand why they need so much stuff when we go on these mini vAy-cAys. On our trip there, my wife and I didn't hear much bickering between them two which was oddly spooky. Sadly though, on the way back, it was a totally different story...they were arguing over who when down the snow hill the fastest. -geesh, I guess I just have to invest into some good earplugs next. Thanks MaxxHaul for making this rooftop cargo bag available at such an affordable price. It's perceived monetary value is definitely more than it's actual cost. I'm planning on buying one also for my wife's brother...he'd like the quality of this since he's such a stickler for products he buys.

Good for the most part
This is very well made and sturdy. It easily held all of our luggage (family of 5) for a weekend road trip. My only complaint is that every single piece of the Velcro on the zipper cover came off after 1 leg of our trip. Maybe the glue holding it on just can’t handle the Arizona heat, but Maxxhaul should consider stitching it on instead of just relying on glue.

Sturdy & secure bag for a great pricd
Went on a road trip this summer and drove ~4000 miles over a week and a half. Bag held up great! Easy enough to install and open/close to get in and out of. Stayed tied down tight at long term 80+ MPH. We didn’t run into any super heavy rain but did have light showers and everything inside stayed bone dry. One of the Velcro pieces on the back did peel up while opening, but the bag had been sitting in direct sun in 90+ degrees, so the adhesive probably just melted. Didn’t ruin the bag or anything. Will definitely use this again for future trips!

Great for the price
This took a serious beating and held strong. It kept my entire family’s ski equipment clean and dry through some of the toughest weather I’ve ever driven through. My 4 star is because when I received this, there were holes where the stitching “cut through”. I taped the holes before using but i don’t think it mattered. They were too small to collect much water/dirt anyway. 2 things... first, tie down the straps or they will flap in The wind and drive you crazy. Second, I put down a rubber mat (rug pad) to keep it from sliding and rubbing my car. If you have cross bars, this will feel more secure as we do not have and I was constantly looking up expecting it to fly off.

Easy to use, secure on your roof because of 8-point attachment system
This was the perfect size for the top of our 2006 Toyota Sienna minivan. We used it to drive 543 miles to Maine in August. It did fine and looked/was a lot more stable on our roof than the others we saw en route which only had 4 point attachments. The only very minor detraction was the tapping of the shorter strap on the roof as we drove. It sounded like rain so not a big deal (and reminded us that our roof bag was still attached when we first used it). Would be nice if they could figure out a velcro system to secure that. I would definitely recommend this product - value for money and good quality!

great buy
this was great i took it too florida and it withstand 20 hrs with no problems back and forth. but people had issues saying it ripped, the difference with me is that i also bought the roof basket some ratchet and also the mesh cover so this may have made a huge difference.. not sure but mine was clean all i had to do is clean the bag since a lot of bugs got on it. update .... 2021/november.... this product is still good no rips and been to florida almost every summer .. , it works great with my carriage /basket... some people posted they rip so maybe because i have it in a basket it hold it together.... but i do recommend this product.

Very good rooftop cargo carrier for car's ( SUV's)
It' very good product at this price range. It's water proof and pollution free. Earlier i used to spend at least 1 hour for packing and 30 min for unpacking. This made my life easy for the long journey's. It has taken hardly 20 min for packing and 10 min for unpacking. I strongly recommend this product.

Loved it, kept everything dry. Used with the Maxxhaul 70115 Cargo Basket and fit perfect
This bag was great and kept everything dry. Went on a 10 day road trip with it and we loved it. It rained for 1 day and a half while driving there and 1 full day on the way back. Got to our first destination and everything inside was dry. It is made from thick material. The straps are also sturdy but I used a ratchet strap across just for extra securement, but I dont think I needed it. The second picture was everything we could fit in it. 2 large suitcases, 1 small suitcase, 2 small duffle bags, 1 reusable bag with life jackets, 1 reusable bag with towels, 1 reusable bag with shoes, and plastic bag with a large pack of diapers. Would definitely recommend buying

Fantastique sac cargo !

Almost amazing
Well made rubberized material. Beefy zippers. Pretty solid straps and buckles. Velcro to keep stats from flapping in the wind a little cheap and one or two ripped off in the first use. The real issue is the Velcro patches to keep the flap that covers the zips down. After one use the are ripping off. Looks like they were only melted on.

No straps included
A pvc bag with a flap that has velcro which covers the non-water proof zipper. This would protect from rain while not driving but won't protect when traveling down the highway. I mainly bought this as a bug protector for luggage and to help strap down items, only issue is I didn't recieve any straps? Ugh.. so unless I find somewhere to purchase strap and sew it myself it's been a unfortunate purchase.
