Disappointed
I've been using maxpedition gear for years. I've always loved them. The quality of this product is exactly where you would expect it to be for maxpedition merch. But this pouch doesn't come with any attachment gear. No tabs, no straps, no clips. I don't get it. I expected at least some cheap molle straps.

This thing holds up
This thing has stood the test of time… 3 years of military service. Everything from in and out of “tactical” vehicles (sharp edges and everything under the sun to catch on), salt water drenched beach landings, dredging through chest deep swamps, to low crawling over sharp desert rocks. Whether rolled or fill this dump pouch showed no signs of giving up. Would and have recommended to everyone in the market for something of the sort.

I purchased this because I wanted to have a scavenger sac easily accessible on my Camelbak Hawg (2015 edition). I had to stitch molle into the side of the pack to mount it the way I wanted, but now with it I've got a great compact stuff sack that great from holding groceries, firewood, wild edibles, mags/range supplies, and just about anything else I could want. The pouch is made of a very durable and water resistant fabric. It's so water resistant that if you plugged the hole on the bottom of the pouch you could use it to carry water short distances. I haven't seen any signs of wear on the pouch in the 4 months that I've had it so far. The Velcro is really sturdy stuff, that seems like it will last a long time, and still looks new. A lot of times when you buy gear that is small and compressed you can't get it to get as compact as it came to you...The Mega Rollypoly is not one of those things, it easily rolls back up nice and small. If anyone tells you otherwise then they are full of it. The leg strap that this pouch comes with is very sturdy, and works well. However depending on how you mount the pouch it might ride too high for the leg strap to fit comfortably. This pouch is big, like easily hold a gallon of milk and still have extra room big, so if you don't want a pouch that big you might want to get a slightly smaller one. The pouch increases my cargo capacity of my Camelbak Hawg by around 50%. I did replace the elastic drawstring with 550 paracord however, not because the elastic stopped working but just because I don't like elastic. The only thing I didn't like about this pouch is that it doesn't come with any malice clips or any other sort of molle strips to attach to your bag/pack. So you will need to buy those on your own.

BEST LARGE DUMP POUCH!
OK, First off pay no attention to the lower stars this product has received, its the best dump pouch made and it helps to know what one is used for. Its made from the highest quality materials and the stitching is spot on. Of course its stiff, like all high quality gear made it needs time to brake in. It is very large and puts my Condor pouch to shame in size. I use dump pouches for collecting fire wood, upland game birds, garbage, magazines and shot shells and just about anything else I need to carry or collect like rockhounding. I look forward to beating the snot out of this pouch and have no doubt this bag will hold up like all my other high end gear I own from Maxpedition. The removable leg strap it great and a nice touch when carrying heavier items so its not bouncing off your leg when hiking around. Yes its made in Taiwan which in my opinion makes far better items then China. I own gear from First Tactical, Helikon Tex, Vanquest, Condor, Voodoo, Blackhawk, LAGP, Hazard 4 and many other companies so I know good quality gear. I like the dump pouch so much I plan on buying a couple others for my wife and daughter for when we go out hiking and camping. If your looking for this type of item just get one, you wont be disappointed and it will last you a long time.

Huge, durable dump pouch.
This a huge dump pouch, but is top quality construction. I had a slightly smaller dump pouch prior to this one, but it wasn't large enough to carry all my mags for a day at the range or 8.5x11 papers/manilla folders when working. This dump pouch is big enough for whatever you need. It can fit multiple upon multiple mags, pistol, M4, etc., and anything else you'd want to toss in there. It is so big that if you were to "fill" it it'd be too heavy or uncomfortable to wear, but it's opening is so huge that if you're reaching in there to toss something in or grab something out, you can easily do so. I attached my dump pouch to a 5.11 vtac duty belt via two (2) blackhawk size 3 speed clips. My only very minor complaint (and for which I am giving 4, not 5 stars) is that the pouch doesn't have more molle attachments on the rear/body worn side. If it had at least 2-4 additional molle attachments on the rear, it would be able to be worn more flush to the body/belt and wouldn't stick out/hang off the body as much. However, I do realize that the reason Maxpedition did not make this with more molle attachments is so the pouch can be folded up when not in use, which I find too annoying to do each time I want to anticipate tossing stuff into the pouch. I'm a big guy, 6'5" and 275 lbs., and this pouch looks huge on me, so if you are a smaller framed person, take this into account.

Amazing product
Exactly what I expected looks amazing I am a military member and this product will serve me will with anything from a dump pouch to just an extra bag for map compass ration some extra glove warm kit etc lots of room. Cheers

Real solid piece of kit. Surprisingly large and very well made.
This is the mother of all dump pouches. You could fit the better part of 2 full reams of 8 1/2” x 11” paper in it. It comes with a leg rig style adjustable strap for keeping it stable. Like all Maxpedition kit the workmanship is top notch and the materials are bullet-proof. (Not literally obviously)

Great product
This is the second one of these that we have in our household. Rather than any military application, we use them to have easy access to things while doing work around the house or dealing with our baby and having nappies to hand etc. Really good!
