This Marmot Women’s Montreal jacket will make you never want to purchase a jacket again, nor will you have to! This jacket is perfect for a college student who must walk miles to class during those awful blizzards. Or are you a mother who cheers her children on to victory, while suffering the cold? Well suffer no more! Marmot’s women’s Montreal jacket has the best options when it comes to color, ranks highest in quality, and most importantly; doesn’t false advertise on the effectiveness of the product. Color: Many jackets displayed on the market are simply offered in only two colors. Worry no more – this jacket is not only offered in more than two colors, but is offered in a total of eight colors! If you’re feeling bold and radiant, there’s a dark crimson (red) or if you’re a more settle individual; midnight navy would do wonders for your taste! You could even buy a jacket to match with your school colors! Quality: This jacket isn’t your typical jacket. Although these jackets are priced at about $218, the quality makes the price worth it. Not flattering but warm and soft

I ordered one size up as other customers have recommended. I am normally a medium and ordered the large size. It fits but is roomy and NOT flattering. I almost sent it back, but I really love how soft and warm it is. Initially I wanted to exchange it for a medium but the chest is very tight while everything else fits very lose. I'm a bit disappointed with the cut. If you have a very small chest you will like it. Overall the quality of the fabric, zipper and stitching is excellent but I wish this coat would fit better. I got the dark blue and I like the color.

Great puffy, so warm and cute.

I live at 8k feet in the high Rockies so it gets really cold and really snowy. Normally I just layer up but I got tired of that and wanted a coat I could wear with a T-shirt so I didn’t constantly have to wear so many layers. This jacket is it. I’ve worn it everyday for about a week in anywhere from 30 degree-5 degree weather and been toasty with just a T-shirt underneath. On top of that it’s cute and fits perfectly in my normal jacket size (5’9, 168 pounds, size large; for reference.) I would totally recommend this puffy to anyone in the market for warmth and style.

Very satisfied!!

I am very cold natured and I bought this jacket for a trip to Alaska. We experienced temperatures of -11 with 17 mph winds. The jacket kept me very warm. I am 5’4” and it hit right below my knee. The sizing was spot on. It just pushed right down in my suitcase and took up very little room. I am 110+% satisfied!!!!

Super warm but big on arms

This jacket saved me from -9c winter with snow ! And im easily cold ! So glad i bought this from amazon for my rather extreme winter holiday. I wear 2 thermals + 1 fleece jacket which makes medium size fits well. It doesnt look slim on the arms, but im willing to compromise as its very warm. It doesnt come too long, so i still feel comfortable for walking with this jacket.

Disproportionately made

Terribly disappointing...this coat is so beautiful and so expertly made, I absolutely love it. The soft fleece in the sleeves, torso and collar, feel so wonderful. It is warm and luxurious. It is so unfortunate that it is made to fit only the tall and slender....no boobs or butt allowed! I am not a big woman...5'2", about 130 pounds, 36C. I bought the medium, which should have been appropriate, but it is so tight across the chest and shoulders, even with a thin cotton tee underneath, I couldn't raise my arms to drive the car. The large will likely be too big but I will try it and update this review afterward.

Tight on chest, size up one size

Listen to the other reviews! The chest area is a little tight. Normally I'd order a small but got a medium and it's perfect. Keeps me warm and looks as cute as a winter coat can!

The best winter coat

This is the second of these coats I have purchased. It’s like wearing a sleeping bag. It’s so warm and cosy but lightweight too. Has internal cuffs so no gusts of wind can blow up the arms, internal pockets one is zipped for securing items. The external pockets have zoos too. Fleece warm lining around the chest and back. It has a removable fur trim around the hood. I have machine washed mine (as per the manufacturer’s instructions) it came out looking brand new, dried well no clumps. I cannot recommend this coat highly enough!

Cosy and warm

The coat is excellent. It fits well and is lovely and warm. The coat is very well made. There are elasticated inner cuffs which is clever, as these stop draughts. It is lightweight but very warm. The hood is big, as other reviewers say, but I think it’s OK. This isn’t a cheap coat but it’s quality...you get what you pay for!

Great longline jacket

I have historically been a great fan of NorthFace long line jackets/coats. But they have become so expensive.l As my last North Face coat was looking to be replaced I sought a less expensive alternative. I did a great amount of research and finally settled on this Marmot long line jacket. I am absolutely delighted. It is just as warm and cosy as the North Face jacket, vedry similar features. I am a true size 14 and the large size fits me perfectly. I like the fact that the fur trim is detatchable. I also like the warm fleece inner on the top half of the jacket. The jacket labels refer to a 'down filling' - I have no means of knowing if this is duck or goose. Either way, the jacket is very warm. All in all absolutely delighted with my purchase.

A lovely item.

Bought this for mu girlfriend for Xmas and she's made up with it. It's a lovely item, lovely on the touch, warm, flattering and well worth the money £130 approx in sale. I had been looking For the North Face version but couldn't find one for love nor money and they are generally double the price if more. So this was an excellent alternative, still a great brand (probably classier than TNF currently) and has the functionality and technical requirements needed. Bought a medium for a 5ft 2inch size 10 female and fits as expected. All in all excellent. ????
