I'm 5'7" 120lbs an received a small. The small fits well with room to wear a thin/medi weight sweater underneath. This jacket is very flattering for a winter coat. It tapers in at the waist so you don't lose your shape and it looks pretty streamlined. Reflective strips under the arms are a nice touch. Nice big pockets plus an interior pocket, and zippered chest pocket. The hood is large. I think I have an average size head, but It's wide but mostly a little too tall so it falls over my eyes. This does help protect your face from the rain but can be a bit annoying, I found it would sit right on glasses and force them down which bugged me. Also this jacket said it was water PROOF, however I wore it through light rain on my walk home and I'd say this jacket is water RESISTANT but not water proof. The water seemed to sit and darkened the jacket after a while instead of slipping right off like a completely water proof jacket. Also, although it does look very nice, if you look closely there are certain details that make it seem not as high quality as other jackets at the same price point. For example, a few crooked single stitch seams, a loose thread here or there. Don't get me wrong I do like it a lot and have received compliments on it, but these are just some things to be aware of, and I would recommend to get it when it's on sale, not at full price of 80 something dollars. Nicely made, good stitching and materials, runs small in hips

My wife likes the overall style of the jacket, except that the hood is not removable. She says: This jacket is nice looking with nice detailing which gives interest to the two-tone grey combination. There are 3 zippered pockets, two at the hand-in-pocket level and one at the chest. None of them is large, but they are adequate for basics...like a phone. The garment seems to be well-made for durability and there is a tab at the inside neck back for hanging on a hook. The downside for me is that the hood is not detachable or able to be rolled into a collar. So if you are not a constant hood person, this could be bothersome. The jacket seemed to run a bit small. I generally wear a small...sometimes a medium depending on the cut. This one fit tight in the shoulders, arms and hips. So if you are in the upper end of a size, you should consider getting a larger one.

This coat actually hugged my daughters curves and looks great on her. It's not bulky at all but she said that it is one of the warmest she has ever worn. Small is true to size and fits like a glove and does not restrict movement. This brand, Arctix has become a very popular brand at my house, we all love their products because we all HATE the cold and this item really does a good job of keeping you as warm as possible. 4 stars.

Runs small

I am 110 lbs and the small does not close, it would but it would be too tight. It is on the heavy side, I do not consider that bad, I think it is warmer. It is well made, it has one small pocket in the inside. It is very warm, the color is a basic black and gray that goes with anything. It has the adjustable string for the waist if needed. Great item, just have to watch for the size. The small might fit well for a girl with little chest. The arms and hoodie are also insulated.

Good jacket for inclement weather.

We live in Southern California so we don’t have much use for cold weather clothes. But it does sometimes get cold and rainy and on those days this is a great jacket for my wife. We take a trip to the snow every so often and this jacket keeps her warm when layered up.

Super Flattering Wind & Water Resistent Winter Coat!

The fit of this Arctix Hooded Moonbeam Insulated Jacket is very cute and flattering. The insulation is very warm and it only took a min to heat up even in the air conditioning. The coat zips up and snaps shut for extra warmth and protection from the elements. As for fit, my daughter is in a Small and she's (5'6 100) 32 24 32 and usually takes a XS or Small. It comes down past her hips and runs longer which I like. These 2 outer zip-up pockets and an inner velcro pocket on the placket. The material is wind and water resistant. The coat is not heavy or bulky and eventhough it's super warm, it's on the thinner side which is good if you want a warm coat without it adding bulk to your frame &/or making you look heavy. The hood gives ample coverage and the collar comes up high even when the coat is not fully zipped. Overall, this is the perfect winter jacket with everything you need to keep you warm while still looking stylish.

Extremely warm, comfortable

This jacket is true to size, comfortable, and very warm. It's well-made, with tight stitching and seams. The sleeves have velcro adjustments for the wrists, and there are pulls on the hood and waist to adjust the fit. This is perfect for cold weather! The jacket also sports several pockets, one of which is located on the upper right inside breast, and will fit a cell phone, great for keeping it out of the cold weather. There are also several exterior pockets , all zippered. The jacket zips and snaps shut, the better for keeping out the wind and cold. This jacket is made for rugged weather, and keeping warm in that weather. It is comfortable, and wears close to the body (the better to keep that body heat in!), but is also made for ease of movement. There were no problems maneuvering in this jacket at all. This is a great cold-weather staple!

Super flattering!

Just because it's freezing, doesn't mean you cant look stylish :) Figure flattering. This coat is not stiff or puffy, very easy to move around in. I am 5 ft. 5 inches tall and 130 lbs, I got the size small and it fits great. I love the the bonus exterior pocket for phone or meds and another bonus pocket on the interior.

Warm and waterproof

Spring 2020 is a cold one. I have been wearing it during the -5 to 5c weather and it is well insulated and keeps me warm. Waterproof outer material and the hood are good for rain/flurry days. No inside pocket. The two side pockets are deep and fleece-lined. Outer shell is easy to clean, just wipe it with a damped cloth. The hood is not detachable. I'm 5'3, 110lb, a size Small fits well with plenty of room for thicker clothes underneath.
