I would recommend this feeder.

Nice size feeder for 6 hens. I only have to fill it maybe every 4 days. I wish it had a lid but I'm sure I'll find something to use to keep the top covered. I like that the side of the base is high enough that I don't have feed flung all over the run when they eat. You may want to peel the sticker off the front of it before you start using it or your chickens will probably peck it off and eat it like mine did.

Great design.

I really like the simple design of this feeder. The only flaw for me is that I have to shake it to refill every couple days.

works good for many chickens to feed at same time, best to suspend the feed up in the air about nine inches off ground.

Muc sturdier than anticipated

Ok items but has issues with rationing of feed.

Had to take this item apart could not get the top to work properly for food rations. Chickens could get to the food. It is a string plastic and without the top it working good for my hens. But the spring and twist top II d of a pain.

worked fine. decent price

bought a couple at 13 or 14 bucks. Good value for the money. It holds feed, the chickens eat the feed. not much else to say. EDIT: rating dropped from 5 to 2 stars for price gouging. same feeder, same seller ( amazon ). Price went up from 13.99 to 34.04 a couple weeks after I bought them. I bought my next two feeders in town at the hardware store, rather than get ripped off...
