Doesn't come with cable as showed in picture
Didn't come with cable, I ordered one for $10 so I didn't have to deal with returning and possibly not included with replacement.

BEWARE - The item does not include the additional cable
Nice lock (heaxy) - BUT it does not include the cable as indicated. This item picture should be changed

OnGuard on point...
I used an OnGuard Pitbull mini for years, and it still works great. However, purchasing a new bike necessitated a new lock. With a little more space between the front wheel and the much bigger downtube on my new bike, I needed something with just a little more reach. There's not much middle ground between various mini locks and their larger counterparts. Often, the next size up finds one shlepping an unwieldy lock nearly twice the length and weight, or much wider than a mini u-lock. As a commuter, I wear a backpack with waist/chest straps. And while the pack has a nice, large pocket on the side ideally suited for a lock, it's not very accessible without removing the bag. And more often that not, placing a lock, even a mini, in the side pocket results in the bag feeling very unbalanced during my ride. I also tend to make a couple stops each day on my commute. As such, I prefer to just carry my lock in my back pocket, for a more balanced ride and ease of access. This is where the OnGuard Pitbull Medium fits the bill perfectly! It's the exact same width as my old Pitbull mini, with just the right amount of extra reach, which is further enhanced by the more square shape at the end of the lock. It fits in my pocket perfectly. And though it looks bulky and heavy, it weighs about the same as my old mini. If I have any complaints about this lock, it's that it's a bit temperamental when trying to engage the lock. There's not much tolerance or wiggle room when trying to lock it, and you may struggle with it at first. But, after a few rides using it, I have no problems. And for those who mount their lock to their bike, the snug fit is great, because it reduces so much rattling common with most u-locks.

Great Bike Lock
It feels very durable. I have two. A slightly shorter one and this one. Both I have been using daily for about a month so far. The package comes with a note that reminds users to do some maintenance 2 times a year to make sure the lock works well for a long time. Your bike needs maintenance so your lock probably needs it too right? I sprayed WD-40 into the keyhole and into the lock from the U-Bar side, turned the key a bunch and let the lock sit for a day over some cardboard before I started using it. Will report back when the lock fails but hopefully not for a couple years. :)

Great U-Bolt but Mounting Bracket is a No-Go
I’ve been using this U-bolt for over a year and it has a lot of positive qualities. It is a very well-made, rugged, durable lock and I have absolutely no complaints about the lock itself. The problem is with the included mounting bracket which is constructed of cheap plastic and will not stand the test of time. The first one broke after a couple months of regular use, so I ordered a replacement and the same exact thing happened again. I love the lock though so I rigged up my own holster system for it out of an old makeup case, a simple quick-release strap, and a bunch of duct tape and zip ties. That is what worked for me lol... It’s just a shame that OnGuard does not provide a mounting bracket to match the lock itself in quality and durability.

Good lock, perfect size
This is a very good, fairly heavy lock, and it's just the perfect size for my bike and for the racks and poles I usually lock it to in my area. It fits in my trunk bag, so I didn't need the frame mount that is included with the lock. I also carry a 4 foot OnGuard cable for those very few times when I need to lock the bike to something with a larger diameter. I haven't encountered a situation yet when I couldn't lock it to something very stationary. The one problem I had was when I first got the lock. The key was pretty difficult to turn. After spraying a little lubricant in the key opening, it started working. I also sprayed lubricant inside the cylinder on the locking pins. It's worked perfectly ever since.

Good lock, incomplete description of size.
Pros: onguard products have performed well for me in the past. I had a very cheap onguard ulock and cable that performed flawlessly for years. This appears to be of even better quality and feels very sturdy. Cons: the curved part of the u has some sort of handle or something on it. It's kindof pointless, adds weight to the lock and has thin wires wrapped around it that could scratch my bike. Also, I wish all u lock manufacturers would put more complete descriptions of the lock's overall dimensions. This, by description was the size I was looking for but when it came it was huge. They appear to have measured the inside dimensions.

Lock mechanism getting stuck and difficult to open
I have had the lock for about a year and it has served me well up until the last couple of weeks. Now when I try to unlock the lock it gets "stuck" and takes several tries and some effort to get the lock to open. I am have tried my other key as well as using wd-40 to clean the mechanism out. I am going to abandon this lock and buy a different lock and brand as I am afraid of locking this up and getting stuck someplace!!! -- edit 4/23/22 -- Ended up buying this same lock again as I had even worse luck with Kryptonite. Well here I am again not more than 14 months later and my new lock is doing the same thing. A week or so ago it started getting difficult to open and today it took my 5 minutes to open almost getting my stuck while out. I eventually got it open, but have not yet been able to get it to close again.

Good price/quality balance
This lock strikes a good balance between its weight and securty it offers. Not the beefiest from OnGuard but I decided to keep this one and return the Brute lock. While the Brute is hands down a more secure model, it's also noticeably heavier. Pitbull is lighter but doesn't compromise on security too much. It is secure against most cable and even some hydraulic cutters from what I've seen. Because it weighs less than the Brute, it's more stable when secured on the bike with the included attachment. This is a good and secure alternative to a more popular and expensive offerings from kryptonite and abus locks.

Good quality but bulky and not possible to insure if you don't live in the US
It was heavier and bulkier than expected (especially with the yellow plastic). I 've been using it for 3 weeks and the fixation part placed on the bike is good for now, that being said, the fixation part on the lock is not fixed, it slides so you often have to put it back in place. Also, I was mostly disappointed by the fact that you can only get the Onguard insurance if you live in the US. The rest of the world can get lost.

Not robust
I bought this lock after someone stole my previous bicycle after sawing clean through my Kryptonite Evolution Mini-7 with an angle grinder. This new lock was received in September 2018 and it worked OK for a few months. It refuses to unlock now. I rode with the shackle hanging from the rails on my saddle. I didn't realize it, but the plastic shell (on the housing) was bumping against the seat post clamp and within about 2 months, it cracked, leaving a gaping hole about 4cm x 1.5cm in size. Aside from the plastic breaking, I was surprised to see that there's quite a bit of space between the plastic shell and the actual metal cylinder. Not sure if that design decision is to protect the mechanism from a direct impact, but it resulted in the plastic shell easily breaking. Once winter began, I started having trouble with unlocking the lock. At first a few twists of the key would properly engage the pins, but later, it started becoming increasingly difficult. Due to the worry of completely being unable to unlock it, I stopped using the lock on my bicycle around late January. It refuses to open now, no matter how long and hard I struggle with the key. Even got blister on my index finger from trying. Perhaps it was the stress from bumping into the seat post clamp, or perhaps it was the Canadian winter taking a toll on it as I park my bicycle outside, but I expected it to last longer than just 5 months. Pros The mechanism to secure to the bike is better designed than Kryptonite's. Spring-loaded slides for the keyhole. Cons The plastic shell of the housing breaks easily. Housing is unnecessarily (?) big in diameter. Not robust. Would be a 1 star review had the lock not been exposed to above average stress from the seat post clamp and the weather.

Hefty quality lock
All they keys work! The whole unit feels like a solid quality lock. The ulock bracket seems good. I have used it a few times and the Ulock was secured pretty well. I just prefer to have it where it is on the bike. Good purchase when on sale for $35.
