Not worth the price but it got the job done.
I should have paid more attention before I bought this. It is just a small bag with 25ft of parachute chord and a couple of small carabiner-type clips. I had those already and so I felt a little ripped off by this. Still, being able to stuff the bag with rocks made throwing it over a branch easier and the chord was strong enough to hold my drybag for the night. So, it worked. But if you are on a budget there are better ways to spend 30 bucks.

Convenient But Disappointing
With no experience hanging a bear bag, I bought this kit, read up on some tutorials and headed out for a weekend trip. We packed enough food for 2 days, mostly fresh (not dried), so all in all it was pretty heavy. We loaded the bag with a few rocks, and got it over a good branch in 3-4 throws, easy enough. Once we tied one bag of food (10L bag) to the rope, it was practically impossible to pull it up. The rope is very thin, so we couldn't get a could grip on it, and after many failed attempts we were unable to pull it up. We decided to try the counterbalance method, and separated our food into two bags. After many, many tries, we finally got all the food up at a good height. Once we got it up it was fairly easy to pull down an individual bag or reload one and push them back up with a stick. Once the trip was over it was very easy to take everything down, but after examining the hanging-bag it already has a hole in it, on the first use! I'd say, you're better off just getting a thicker rope, and using any small, old bag you have or just a rock you can tie the rope onto. This seems good for beginners, but it won't last you very long. And if you're going for a longer period of time, you'd definitely need multiple kits or more rope, because my one weekend trip was already too heavy to hoist up.

Does exactly what it's supposed to
Used it on the Appalachian Trail and found it worked great. You do need to add weight to the bag but it's nice and self contained

Know that this is very thin line...
and subject to snagging. It's so thin that it often cuts into the branches causing friction. Unlike the photo the line in my kit was white which shows dirt. The bag is fine and the clips are nice, I'll probably end up tossing out the rope before my next trip.

Hang 'em high
Simple and small footprint, the Liberty Mountain Easy Hang Bear bag is a good tool to practice with, is great for beginners. I used it to learn and took it with me on my first solo backpacking trip. The only thing it doesn't come with is a rock and you will probably want one, I found several on the ground, but without one in the back it might be difficult to hang over a branch. What you should know: the paranoid is clingy, VERY clingy! It got caught on sticks, leaves and even my shoes. Do not be surprised if it getstill stuck in the tree you're trying to hang it on, just be patient, practice with a lower branch and you'll get the hang of it.

Okay for what it is.
I misunderstood and thought it was a bear bag with rope and latch. The bag seen here is a small bag used to counterbalance/toss over making it easier to hang your bag. I actually didn't end up using this as our camping trip location was readjusted due to weather.

Not a bear bag as
This thing is tiny, not even big enough to hold a stripped down MRE. Maybe it’s a toy for your GI Joe camp out. It has “rope” in it. More like shoestring, and some cheap carabiners for holding your keys. This will not last. I was ripped off. This abomination is on its way back to Amazon.

since there was a time crunch and the rope at least is nice and long
This is what I get for not reading the complete description of the product! The bag pictured is not the bag I ordered. The bag I ordered was about large enough to accommodate a sandwich and not much else! I took it on my backpacking trip anyhow, since there was a time crunch and the rope at least is nice and long. But I ended up filling the bear bag with rocks and using it as a counterweight to hang this odorless bag, which contained all my food and toiletries: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GHFSMES/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_8

Misleading
The title is misleading. Please read reviews before buying. I thought this was a food bag but is actually just a bag for your rocks

Incredibly small.
The description and photography (at the time of purchase) needs to be more clear about the size of this bag.
