Great for the space, good price, and so far its working well though…

The price point on this is the catch as overall it’s a average line product in terms of material quality and such but you do get a lot for the price, so much so I bought a second one so they can sit by an entry point as complementary units left/right sides of the entry. Really easy to put together if you ask me and while the light is not SUPER bright the good part is that it’s solar powered and it means no running of any electrical lines. The material seems to be your basic powdered aluminum which isn’t bad my only thought is how long the solar side of this fixture will last. Also keep in mind 64” in height is from the base of the flower box so if you’d plan to bury the box (and I can’t think its recommended) then you’re going to have a much shorter light. Point here is that is actually over 5 ft, almost 6, taller than most and it has a decent base so installing it along the drive way was a nice touch so I picked up a second to make a pair. In short for the price, I just think you can't beat it and it's really a good buy and if the solar portion of the light holds up well over time it would be a major plus.

No steel stake as in the description

I was disappointed to not find any stakes in the box for mounting this in my yard. The description certainly implied that there would be some. "The interchange steel stake and base allow you to be creative and change set up in our garden, front porch, and sidewalk." The good news is that my husband had some stakes that would fit the mounting holes in the base. I do not have an appropriate solid surface that I was willing to put holes into for mounting it. It was installed late in the daylight hours, so probably there probably won't be enough sunlight to charge it for very much light tonight, so we will likely have to wait till at least tomorrow night to see how much light it produces.

A decent street lamp

The quality of the lamp is good, no flimsy plastic for the whole post, you see some plastic only at the light portion at the top. It’s sturdy and a good looking addition to the landscape without the need for wiring. Yet, the light is not that bright, but I know that since it said 90 lumen in the product description, so I wasn’t expecting much how much light it provide to a reasonably lit area, however I think this will still do fine with a dark area. I actually can’t tell a big difference between the low & high lighting mode; the 2 picture are actually 2 different mode, but they don’t look much different, just like in real life, just look at the shadow amount at the ground, the one that looks brighter but with more shadows on the ground is actually the low mode… other than the light can be better, this is a good landscape piece that provide some light too.

Very light weight for a lamp post

The media could not be loaded. I love that this is solar powered, and you don’t have to plug it in. It automatically turns on when the lights go off or at dusk. The only thing I don’t like too much about it is that it is very lightweight and the installation hardware that comes with it is more for a deck installation. I was going to install it in the backyard and was looking for some stakes to stake into the ground easily. It is beautiful when it comes on. It has a nice little shimmering glow to it. I also think this would look perfect on a Christmas scene. I hope my review was helpful to you.

Long lasting 3.2v LiFe PO4 battery.

I was suspired that all of the unit is made of metal except the top solar unit is plastic. The three sections screw together the base is 8" across has a nice tapered look. The lamp screws on the post and is not a standard size so this lamp is all you can use on the post. The unit is a very light weight aluminum, the thickness will hold up to the weather but you can't swing around on it, it would probably break. The lamp has glass lens and puts out a good amount of light if there is proper sunlight to charge. The best thing about this unit is it has a Long lasting 800mAh 3.2v LiFe PO4 battery which is superior to regular Lithium battery's. Lithium batteries last about 500 cycles - LiFe PO4 last 3000 cycles so you should get a long life out of this if you don't run into it very hard and break the post.

Built to last

Honestly this was a little more solid than I expected for a reasonably priced post lamp. It comes in pieces and all you have to do is screw everything together. There are a couple screws for the base but otherwise assembly is all done by hand. It’s as tall as any other big box store option and definitely easier to get set up. It’s a little top heavy and definitely something you will want to mount on something. I plan on just mounting ours to a 12x12 concrete block which will be fine. As with most like this you just twist the top off to set up your light settings. There’s a low and high setting depending on what your needs are. Both settings are the cool white color ones obviously just brighter. Overall this is done really well. The posts screw together securely and look great. It’s got real glass with a ripple texture and if you didn’t know it you wouldn’t even know it was solar. Very cool product, highly recommend

Easy to put together and looks great!

There's not much to say because this is exactly as it should be. This is a beautiful lamp. It looks great! It was extremely easy to put together. I didn't even need the instructions. It probably took 15-20 minutes tops. Each piece screws onto the next. The only tool needed was a #2 Phillips screwdriver to attach the base. It also comes with 3 concrete anchors to use to mount on concrete. NOTE- There is a thin film (see pic) on the top of the lamp over the solar panel that needs to be removed before use. The lamp arrived quickly and was packed well. No Damage from shipping. My wife was very pleased with the overall look. It has a very classy appearance. I think we are going to purchase a few more.

Great aesthetic that will last for many years.

This lamp post is amazing. It looks better than in the photos. Excellent addition to the aesthetic of my front yard. Since it’s solar powered, there is no need of having a nearby outlet or having the need to dig up the ground to run electrical. The option of being able to select the brightness level between low and high is a nice after thought. The lamp post is made of a metal alloy, so it will last for many years. I’m very happy with this lamp post.
