Seeded Glass is delicate - be aware when purchasing.

This is a beautiful light. Quality. Problem though discovered upon opening and unpackingthe box, corners of the seeded glass cracked. Called the Kichler factory directly and they are replacing the glass. 5 stars if arrived in perfect condition. Still love it!

Very handsome lights

I purchased two of these lights and posts for my barbeque area. My electrician installed them. I use 60 watt equivalent LEDs and the light output is perfect. (Some people might want more light.) These are handsome lights but make sure you understand that the size of the "head' is pretty large. Measure up before you purchase.

Just What We Were Looking For

So far we've been very happy with these lanterns. They are made of brass, which contributes to their cost. I'd been told by professionals that Kichler Lighting was, in general, quality stuff. The Mount Vernon series goes well with our Colonial home and we will probably purchase more in the future.

Very nice light

A great light, very attractive shape and extremely well made. I'm just sorry Kichler doesn't make a larger version, as it was too small to look right on top of a 20-inch square brick column.

Worth The Price!

Last October we purchased the Mount Vernon Post Lantern and three of the matching wall lanterns. Finally got an electrician to install. After having had two sets of inexpensive lanterns from another manufacturer, we decided on these Mount Vernon fixtures and are very pleased with the quality and overall appearance. They are better constructed, feel solid, and the black finish is beautiful. Very much worth the price (double our inexpensive fixtures). They came well packaged, all the parts were included, and the electrician even commented that they are quality fixtures. So glad we "traded up" and purchased these lanterns. PS. Driving rain and snow have not penetrated and blown out our smart bulbs. Weather tight and easier to keep clean too!
