Baby approved

Given as a gift to a 6 mo baby and she was fascinated by the colors and textures. She Especially like the ears to to chew on. Easy for her to hold and wave about making delightful noise for her. The attaching ring secures it to her car seat or stroller.

Want a unique toy: what about a moose?!

Our almost 3-yo granddaughter loved Mortimer (as we called him) from the time she was an infant. The colors and different textures were fun for her. She still carries him around with her for quiet time on the couch. When a new baby recently arrived in our extended family, we agreed, "time for Mortimer 2" - and soon, we'll be delivering Mortimer 3. This is our favorite new baby present ever!

Best toy!

My son started playing with this at 5 weeks old. He adores it still at 3 months old and gets hours of playtime fun from it. Well made, gorgeous colors, nice crinkle sounds, many textures.

My granddaughters favorite toy !

I had got this as a gift for Xmas for my granddaughter . She's 2 months & loves it so much. She really loves the crinkle sound & it's easy for her to hold . My daughter said out of all her toys this is her favorite ????

Octopus toy - 7 month old loves it!

My 7 month old is obsessed with strings and ribbons and he loves this toy! It looks exactly as pictured and is a good size. I also love that the ribbons aren’t so long that my mom anxiety needs to worry about him trying to swallow them. It also makes crinkly noises which he loves as well. All around a great toy!

Mortimer Moose. A kids best friend.

My son received mortimer moose as a gift when he was born. It was his favorite toy even at 5 yo. He passed in 2016 & we buried him with it. And bought one for display. We also bought one for our grandson when he was born. He loves it. All lamaze tag along toys are wonderful. A textural ans sensory delight. Great for babies, toddlers, and autistic children. It washes well too.

I bought this toy for my son when he was 3 months old. Initially he didn’t show much interest but now at 5 months he loves playing with this toy. He loves the crinkly noise it makes. Only negative is the price and the long delivery time.

Aye, aye Cap'n!

A resounding yes to this Captain! There's enough and more going on in just one toy to keep baby engaged for quite some time. Here's what to expect: - Rings to grab/ gnaw on (my teething 7mo is particularly fond of those) - Crinkly sounds from some of the tentacles - Rattle/ bead hanging down the centre - A plastic (but very clear) mirror on the base of the toy (not visible in the website picture) - when baby holds up the toy, or you do, s/he can see her/ his face on there - Amazing amount of detail (notice the shiny yellow satin boot on one tentacle!) Can be clipped on to a stroller/ car seat/ crib rails as well. Quality is flawless. Amazon doesn't disappoint on the whole packaging and delivery as usual. This one is one of my favourite Lamaze toys - and from what I can see, my little boy's too!

Great for little hands

It's a smaller Lamaze which is good for smaller hands. My little boy likes the different textures of the "tentacles" and grabbing the rings. He isn't teething yet but it's the same rings that most of the Lamaze Toys have. I personally think they're a bit hard for teething but great for keeping little hands busy!
