Best For Smoking At Low Temps
I use this dual temp meat thermometer to monitor temps when I'm smoking boston butts or brisket in my smoker. You can also use it as an instant read thermometer but it is not that instant: you have to wait about 10-15 seconds to get an accurate reading. The cable lengths are 43 inches, which is great when you have meats deep in your smoker. The probe is only 4 " long so you might not get all the way to the center of a big boston butt or picnic shoulder, so something to consider. The display has a magnetic backing as well as the cable storage piece. The display is backlit by just tapping the virtual the power button on the LCD display. The instructions are basic but are not accurately translated from Chinese. The app, however, is awesome. From there, you can monitor the temps, set alarms, name each probe so you know what temp you are looking at, etc. I didn't use it in my oven or grill because I was concerned about the rubber housing at the top of the probe being able to withstand certain temperatures. I asked the question on the product page Q&A but have not received a response yet. The bluetooth range is only about 10-12 yards. It almost defeats the purpose since I'm already that close I can just read the temp from the display. Overall, it is accurate within +/- 5 degrees and, for the price, I believe it is a good value.

Convenient Dual-Probe Thermometer, but the App?
The Laguna Home VC004 grill thermometer includes batteries and two thermocouples (temperature probes). The simplest use is to just plug in one or both probes, and turn the unit on. It displays the temperature, although there is a lag. The directions say that this is a bluetooth-enabled thermometer, and that you can set alarms for the temperature you want to achieve. The directions say to go to the App store, and to search for BBQ-Sense. I did this, and the two apps that show up look nothing like the pictures shown in the directions. I downloaded and installed the first app (Grill Sense), but it originates in China, and it wants my wi-fi password. Why does it need my wi-fi password, just to be able to pair in Blue Tooth mode? I did not give it my password; it won't work with 802.11AC (5GHz), anyway. Anyway, if the app were working well, and was available as described in the instructions, I'd up the rating to 4 or 5 stars. As is, it's an overpriced dual-probe thermometer that you have to watch.

A basic tool, but there are better options for a little more
There aren't many great choices in the $20-25 space, so this may be as good as it gets at that price point. For $35-50, you have much better options with Bluetooth and/or with a dedicated receiver (eliminating and privacy concerns with apps). For the $20 price, you get a decent thermometer setup with two probes. The temps came out close to what I got using a Maverick thermometer or my iGrill setup. The range wasn't great, but comparable to my iGrill setup. The app is a bit dubious, doesn't match what's in the guide, and asks for a lot of permissions. I have an old Android phone I use for stuff like this, so it wasn't too much of a concern, though I'd be more concerned (for privacy and battery life) if I had an app like this on my everyday phone. All in all, it's a lot for $20, but I'd spend a little more and get a standalone setup. Even the pricier and more feature packed iGrill hasn't changed my mind--there's nothing better than a set of standalone wireless thermometers.

Slooooow, accuracy not great
This is a handy device. It's nice to be able to monitor 2 steaks at the same time. I also used it for bread. I like being able to stick the probs in the meat or whatever and get an almost real time read or if the temperatures. I'm using the term real time loosely. These are very slow, it takes them at least 30 seconds to produce an accurate temperature. I'm using the term accurate loosely too. I tested the probes in boiling water and they were off. So I tested them multiple times. The accuracy is within +/-3 degrees Fahrenheit and it's not consistent. I also tested them at room temperature against other thermometers I trust with the same results. Sometimes they read a bit low and sometimes a bit high. While this isn't great, there accuracy is close enough for most applications. I attached a picture of the probes wound up on the storage reels. To use them you have to remove them. The cable isn't long enough to be on the grill/in the oven and wound around the reel. There is no cover for the tips of the probes so they are waiting to stab you if you stick these in a drawer. You can solve that with an alternate storage solution, but why should you have to?

Two thermometers w/bluetooth tech
Who knew you could use two meat thermometers at once? Well you can now with this one. It's priced a bit high, but does offer some value. In order to use these with your phone, you have to first download the app (in the instruction manual). You can then adjust settings from C to F, and it tells you ranges for temps based on the type of meat. It's quite useful, and allows you to set alarms when certain temps are reached. Each base unit is magnetic, so you can stick it to the outside of your grill. The thermometer and cord are long and so far results have been pretty accurate from what I can tell. Besides the price. I really like using these thermometers. And now you can cook two meats at once!
