Great quality for price

Making this review 1month after purchase, I bought this since I lost my old pot and I am impressed with how well the product was made. Definitely recommend held up very well.

Great, non-floating marine rope

The rope is great. Sinks quickly, easy to tie knots in. Seems to be holding up well. ***PLEASE NOTE*** The provided float has a hole diameter MUCH wider than the ropes 3 strand knots (standard buoy knotting technique). I had to add another knots of 3 full strands in or to keep the float attached!

Exactly as described.

Came with a float and heavy rope. Great for crabbing. The top sinks to avoid boat propellers. The buoy is great for marking your property. Make sure they're tied on correctly!

Inconsistent product

I ordered 2 of these. One was delivered by UPS, the other by USPS oddly enough. The one that matches the product picture was pre-tied to the bouy. The other one was not. They were also entirely different ropes. Aside from the odd change in product, they both worked as expected. Bouy was easy to see and everything held up nicely. We had a good crab dinner that night.

Great Sinker Line, But A Tad Thin

Good line and buoy for crabbing. The line sinks, which is nice when boats go floating past or over it. The lines is a little thin, though, and slick. It takes a small amount of effort to keep it from tangling when playing it out over the water while setting my crab trap from my small boat. Because it is thin and a little slick, it is a little more difficult to pull up than some other lines might be. Still, I am very happy with the quality of this product and I recommend it to anyone who goes crabbing.
