Perfect for Bathroom
Excellent from Kohler. My cat developed a fetish for Q-tips. We had to get a can w/a lid she could not open. The small, 7" wide, approximately 16"deep, is small, but it's a great size & holds a lot. Opening the lid isn't a big concern for how high it opens because you control that with the pedal opening it a little or all the way. The nice stainless is easy to clean. The inside inner plastic bin has tabs on each end to hold a bag (regular grocery store size bag.) It's easy to remove the bin & replace the bag. It has a foot pedal to open, & easy close lid. No paw can get it open! We also have one for the "cat's" bathroom also. It keeps odor down & litter dust cleans easily. This trash bin is worth the price for the quality & features. I plan to get a larger kitchen since these 2 have functioned so well.

Perfect for most bathrooms
I like the size and the design, being able to take out the inside plastic bin to fit it with a small plastic trash bag, and especially the opening mechanism on a narrow side.

The best trash cans I've bought so far. I love how they look (I bought 2, one white and one grey) besides looking beautiful, the shape they have is perfect for any small corner and best of all ta ta ta taaan my dog ​​can't open it :)

Love that the lid comes down on its own. Seems made to use with grocery bags as it has a place for the handles to loop over. It keeps my dogs out so happy Love it!

Best trash can I have ever owned!
I got this trash can to keep my dog out of the trash, and it is easily the best trash can I have ever owned! The lid sits flush with the top of the can, so it's not possible for the dog to open it by pushing up with his snout. In fact, I have to use my fingernails if I want to open it without the foot pedal! It is quite narrow, so it would work great if you only have a small space between the toilet and the wall. The lid can be propped open if you need the can to stay open for any reason, and the soft close is wonderful - no clanging lid during night time bathroom trips! But my favorite thing is that this trash can seems to be designed to use plastic grocery bags as liners! There are grooves for hooking the bag handles around that hold the bag in place AND secures it completely out of sight when the can is closed! No more unsightly bags sticking out of the lid or covering the outside of my trash can!!!

A little klunky
I would have given 5 stars however i feel it's a little klunky (lack of better term) for the price you pay. After releasing the foot pedal it "klunks" down about half way then closes nice and smooth. I also wish there was a way to open it without stepping on the pedal when needed! Fyi, you can make it stay open but have to step on the pedal and open it about half way then use your hand to open the rest of the way. It stays up until you close it with your hand...

Small but useful
I live in NYC and my apartment building uses a trash chute that is pretty small. I use grocery store carry bags for my trash because they are just the right size for the chute. (I have a secret supply of the bags since they have been discontinued where I live.) This can has handles on the side of the plastic insert so I can loop the handles of the bags, preventing the bag from falling in. It is small, but it forces me to take out my trash frequently, which is a good thing.
