Works great and replacement pump assembly is inexpensive

Best soap dispenser so far. Solid build. If you’re tired of cramming under the sink to replace the soap dispenser, get this Kohler 1222881-VS soap dispenser (about $22 as of 2023-02-20). Should last a few years and if the pump assembly fails, this replacement Kohler 1087763 Dispenser Pump Assembly (ASIN B006UP7J4E) fits and is inexpensive (under $2 as of 2023-02-20). I’ve posted the unboxed pic of this item since the listing only has a diagram. Didn't use the bottle. The end of the pump straw was attached to an extension tube. No check valve was needed. In fact, the check valve we had added unnecessary strain on the pump assembly and likely make it wear out quicker.

Perfect replacement

This pump was to replace one that came with my sink many years ago. It fit perfectly! Just what I needed.

Perfect match

I found a good price on a Kohler Kitchen sink faucet only to find the reason for the good price is that it didn't include the soap dispenser. Despite the horrible product diagram on this Amazon listing I found the color to be a perfect match, quality is fine and it all went in quick and easy. Do yourself a favor though and take it to the hardware store and buy some clear vinyl tubing that fits tightly over the suction tube and long enough to extend to the floor under the sink. Cut a notch in the end of the tubing and put the notched end into a big bottle of dishwashing soap under the sink rather than use the supplied bottle. You can thank me later because these can be fussy to fill.

Exact Replacement

This was an exact replacement of what I had before. My old pump gummed up and would not pump soap without getting stuck in the down position. So far, the replacement has not experienced the same issue and has been working well.

Im that guy who thinks most things are over priced. This was a little cheaper than most and a match for the sink and faucet I just installed. Simple as most. Whole established already. Drop top part through the hole. Put nut on bottom. secure compressing supplied washer up top to seal. Either refill bottle with soap and screw on from bottom or just install bottle and fill from top. Then put the pump in. And done. Pretty standardized install. Nice look. Id say the market has escalated the price to be considerably higher than these should be but with that in mind and comparing apples to apples. Good product.

Easy to install. I only gave it two stars for sturdiness based on the original one that failed (the pump stopped pumping) in about a year. I assume the design hasn't changed. This one works fine, but has only been installed for a couple of weeks… too soon to rate the new one on sturdiness. This seems to be an exact match for the one that came with my faucet, so cosmetically it's perfect.

This was ordered to be a replacement for the original dispenser that came with our faucet. Pleasantly surprised it is the exact product.

Material de construcción cuestionable.

Dice ser acero inoxidable pero yo casi estoy seguro que es de plástico pintado, se siente 5 veces mas liviano que el de cobre cromado original que cambie. El tiempo me dirá la verdad.

Set completo a un super precio

Esta es la pieza que necesitaba, en México no la encontré en ningún lugar! El precio excelente y viene todo el set completo de dispensador de jabón. En mi caso se daño solo la bomba pero por este precio consegui todo el juego.
