Clean minimalist and functional
Very nice soap dispenser. We use this for hand soap. We have a contemporary kitchen and this looks nice on the counter together with our other Alessi items. See photo of it next to our Aesop hand soap and Method dish liquid. Water does collect on the top cover - it is somewhat concave but can be easily wiped off. Also water with collect inside the container - we empty it once a week or so Material is plastic and no better or worse that other plastic.. there is a refillable clear container inside. If this soap holder is too expensive for your taste .. there is also a very contemporary looking Umbra soap dispensers for 1/4 of the price. We have a few of the Umbra dispenser in our bathrooms. For design lovers - this Soap Dispenser is designed by architect and designer Piero Lissoni - you will be never be able to find a cheaper Piero Lissoni product - his furniture for Cassini typically run $$$ .. maybe this soap dispenser comes a full circle for him in our kitchen .. apparently he started as a kitchen designer for Boffi many years back.

Great for 4 years.
I wanted a distinct soap dispenser and this is it. All good since 2018 until mid 2022 when the up of the bottle unglued. It was $40 then now its $50. If I cant find a different model I will epair this one. The pump and housing are still good. Its a quality item except for the failed bottle top.

It looks cool, but too big for the bathroom countertop. I wish it was one inch smaller.

Beautiful and Functional
Very chic design and holds a good amount of soap. You don't have to worry about rust (metal dispensers) or broken ceramic dispensers because of PMMA. It is slightly bigger than other dispensers, so consider your sink counter space before buying this. I have been using it for a month and it doesn't drip at all. The only reason why I am giving it 4 instead of 5 is because of the way it has been designed. The soap dispenser itself sits in a hollow white PMMA shell holder, and if you splash or drip water over it, it will accumulate in the holder. Edit: Changing the rating to 3 stars. In January 2013, the dispenser wouldn't work properly. It would get jammed every time I used it. I got a Restoration Hardware soap dispenser instead.

Any decor soap dispenser
This soap dispenser is perfect. Clean lines make it invisible in a way that blends with any decor. The interface provides a large surface button to dispense the contents. This is a “less is more” item. I would buy it again and do recommend it.

Not metal
Beautiful dispenser. However, the description of the item says that the item is made from metal, which is why I chose it over the taller dispenser. Unfortunately, it is made from plastic. I am a little disappointed.

Minimal, functional, and holds a lot of soap!
I purchased this on a recommendation from a friend and I wasn't disappointed. It's easy to load with soap, holds a lot, and is easy to press with one hand. It doesn't get dirty like soap dispensers with metal parts. It sometimes gets a little water in the bottom, but all you have to do is rinse it out when you refill it. If it wasn't so expensive I would have one in every room!

Brilliant Design
Bought this because I have wasted money numerous times buying fancy soap dispensers. So although this is quite expensive for a soap dispenser and not sparkly and pretty...I think its great and should last for a long time (hopefully). I do actually like the look of it and it looks good on my bathroom sink.
